anyway - I lost this thread and just found it again. Inventory is a terrible decision, no matter how small!!!!

Don't waste your money - if you can scrape together actual ORDERS ahead of time, then cool. But if you're ordering crap because you're "hoping" to sell it - bad idea.

And why isn't everyone here bailing and sending back their inventory yet? LOL It's been a while since we threw a "Inventory Return" party - i've got the graphics, so somebody help me out!!!

Seriously?  That's concerning.  How could you tell someone read them (unless they blabbed the info in the PM where you could see it)?  Please do tell, I'm interested in hearing. 
I agree, why ISN'T everyone just sending this drek back??  A really good site for MLM info is www.falseprofits.com.  It's a good read no matter what your intentions w/ your cosmetic distribution center is.  I don't have the stomach to call it a "business" after all I've found out.  Pinkcaddy if you'd rather PM me w/ that info I understand.

Amen PC! Send the crap back! You don't need inventory. Thats a line they sell you so you would be afraid you might miss the sale. All BS! People wait for their orders. Or is it just that you need to jump on them with product in hand so they can't say no?

 *welcome  you can always order product that you need at a later date if someone orders it from you.  Remember, of they want the product enough they wont mind waiting 4 or 5 days for it to come in.  Just don't go into debt for it.

anyway - yes I changed my avatar to more appropriately reflect my brown hair.  :teehee: I had a lot of highlights, but I'm not actually a blonde. This avatar is waaaay cooler on yahoo IM, because the baby in the walker actually runs back and forth across the screen - it's so cute!!
Does anybody else here have yahoo IM? Because I'm addicted to playing the scrabble and tetris games on there - if anybody here wants to play, add me to their friends list!

One thing you might consider...you can always work with another Director if this one is that bad. I had one who was terrible...she only wanted me to place orders, no training on how to close, etc. I told her the meetings were too far away and worked with another director who taught me how to SELL things. Imagine?!?! Yes, your director will still make a profit from your sales, but you will be growing your business the way you want to grow it.
