I was in MK years ago.  (At least 12 years ago, because it was before I was preggo with #1 son.)

I did not get saddled with inventory and really did not have a horrible experience.  :teehee: I made some sales, but I was really just doing it very very part time, so it was no big deal.  I just went inactive and that was it.  No sending back inventory or anything like that.

I went to a skin care class tonight and really enjoyed it.  I have not used MK stuff in a long time (except for some stuff that my mom gets.  She loves Mk stuff and sometimes buys it for me.  :loveshwr: )

There were quite a few new things and I fell in love with some of the products.  Made a purchase, etc.  There are a lot of things I want to get.  :jmp4joy:

So now here is my dilemma:  I am thinking of joining just as a personal use rep.  I would use enough (between me and my girls) to justify a $200 purchase every quarter.

I also know to expect an inventory speech and all of that stuff, but I did not do that before, and I won't do it this time.  So I am not worried about going into debt.  I will just  :ign: anyone trying to give me the inventory speech.  :teehee:

Is there anyone else here who only does personal use and would give some advice?  Or maybe someone only trying to sell enough to get your products for free?   How do you do it?  How do you work your business?

Shay-  I thought about staying active to keep products for me & my loyal customers, but ultimately ended up sending products back.  There are PLENTY of women here who can sell you ANY MK products at wholesale & would be happy to move them.  We can help those women & NOT help MK corp.  Then you NEVER have to hear any of the stuff  :ign: from those deeply in the pink fog.  That's my suggestion.  Anyone else?

Thanks, freethinker!  :loveshwr:

I am not doing anything right away.  I want to think about it.  I appreciate your honesty!  :ty:

I wasn't sure about being able to get newer products at wholesale from someone else.  rudolph  The stuff I really liked was newer products.  :loveshwr:

freethinker is right. Plenty of sources for MK products right here. I wouldn't join just to be personal use.

You'll be able to get newer products here as well. We have people come to PL every week who are just getting out of the MK rat race, so you'll be able to find what you're looking for. I've swaped for things my cusotmers wanted that were new here on PL with no problems (including some of the Holiday stuff from this year).. I agree- Help someone else move it out of their house so they can move on with their MK free lives!!

Shay-  This may work for you....
I just ran into an old consultant friend who has been on again off again.  She is having all the same feelings all of us have had, but is not ready to permanantly hang up the hat.  I asked if I could order with her.  She has a hard time coming up with $200- ws orders, I still have customers who need products (that I am having difficulty giving up), so we can help each other out.  I told her I would give her +10% for her trouble.  She's very happy with this.
You have to find the right person though who is not immersed in the pink bubble.

Coming out of the fog

Shay, I'm in SC and a current consultant.  I try to stay active, but don't always have enough to order the $200 ws every three months.

Maybe we could combine our orders?  I would only charge you ws, plus tax, plus half the MK shipping and whatever shipping to you would cost.

Let me know if you're interested.  I am SO not in the pink bubble anymore!
