Pinkmomma, I'm a SAHM of 3 and have been in MK for 5 1/2 years.  It is a pink treadmill!  JUMP OFF!   I too liked getting out of the house a few times a week and like the products enough.  What it has really come down to recently for me is at what cost am I doing this?  I was chasing the "pink dream" of being a director so that added some stress and it's a constant up keep of customers.  I thought I could just provide good customer service to my loyal customers.  Those customers proved to be very few.  With the quota of $200 every 3rd month, I can't keep that up even.  It's just getting to be a hassle instead of an enjoyment!  We are probably  moving in a few months so I'm going to let it die a slow death.  There is NO WAY I'm going to build from nothing again!!
Oceanlover is SO right!!!  There are so many options out there.  I honestly thought for YEARS that MK was all I had so I had to make it work.  I don't have a college degree so not very marketable that way.  Check around, put the word out that you're looking for something, research.  You will find something!

I was a drafter before and have done some of that from home, but the call isn't really there for working from home.
I'd love to be a personal shopper - give me your list and your $$ and i'll make the run for you - wouldn't that just give you a retail fix for a while!
 rofl
I'm definitely going to do some checking around.
i started this as strictly personal use and kind of got sucked in. didn't think i was much of a follower, but i guess i'm just a sheep.

Your MK Success has a Snowball's Chance in Hell

As another former director, I agree with what everyone else has said, esp the part about directorship. Read through the site and it will make your hair stand on end (visit section on DIQ and directorship - what they don't tell you).

I am also a SAHM, and I make more money doing editorial freelancing from home during nap time than I ever did in MK - most especially including directorship. If you want to make $100-200/month, I wouldn't recommend MK (or any MLM for that matter). You'd have to spend much more time away from your family than you are most likely willing/wanting to, and that would mostly be weekends and evenings, and basically just revisit what UYC said, because that's the gist of what I was going to say. MK is a time suck, and you just can't make a decent profit for your time involved.

To make any $ at all in MK, you'd have to climb the ladder of immorality and screw over women for a living while sacrificing (and pi$$ing off) your friends and family, and losing some in the process.

Sorry I sound so bitter. I'm not anymore (95% of the time), but it bubbles up occasionally. If you can read thru some of the bitter, that's my honest opinion on a non-bitter day, too.

Sounds like we are in the same boat...not blinded or brainwashed but also not totally disgusted with our experience.  Would love to chat with you...tried to pm you but don't have enough posts.  If you want to pm me your email I'd like to share our experiences and challenges.  I hate to see that so many women have had negative experiences with MK people.  It just gives me more reason to make sure I'm not guilty of the same irresponsible behavior.  I have customers tell me all the time that I'm not "like most MK consultants" that I'm not pushy.  I truly enjoy spending time getting to know them and feel like they bless me as much as I hope I've blessed them in the process.  Anyway, would like to chat if you're interested!

And where I lived, people definitely did NOT want to be "bothered" with hosting home parties. It's funny, because I was the same way before I got into MK! How ridiculous is that? I HATED home parties before, so why on earth did I suddenly think other people would want to host them for me?? I don't know - I was seriously delusional.

PC, I think we are twins! I only had one party, it was my debut and only one person came.  faint
