just got this in an email from Corp....odd that they are starting to push this so much more then i've ever seen in the last few years.... rofl Sick

As Mary Kay said, “Nothing happens until someone sells something.” So why not make it your goal to achieve a Power Start when you facial at least 30 customers within 30 days? You’ll want to encourage your personal team members to make it their goal, too. A Power Start is a great way to book future appointments. Plus, it could help you and your personal team members earn an additional cash bonus in April!

From April 1-30, 2007, when your personal wholesale Section 1 production, plus the wholesale Section 1 production of your existing personal team members and the new personal team members you add in April, meet or exceed the challenge goal for your career path status during this time period, you can receive a cash bonus listed below:

Career Path Status (on April 30, 2007) Personal/Team Wholesale Production Goal  Additional cash bonus
Senior Beauty Consultant                                                  $2,000                    $100
Star Recruiter                                                                 $3,000                    $200
Team Leader                                                                   $4,000                    $300
Future Independent Sales Director/
Independent Sales Director-in-Qualification                          $5,000                     $400
Independent Sales Director                                               $6,000                     $500

Additional guidelines:
Your career path status will be determined by your total number of active personal team members on April 30, 2007.
You must be active* to participate.
Remember, this cash bonus is in addition to the $50 personal team building bonus that is paid to Star Recruiters, Team Leaders, Future Sales Directors and Sales Directors-in-Qualification and the $100 Sales Director Personal Team Building Bonus paid to Sales Directors. For more information, click here or log on to the Mary Kay InTouch® Web site and click the link to Advance Online. And, for more booking and selling ideas, please click here to visit LearnMK® on the Mary Kay InTouch® Web site.

So why not make this season one filled with blossoming sales, a growing team and earning an additional cash bonus too!

Wishing you continued success,

I cannot believe I met and took a picture with Sean K and Dacia- it was my first and last "event" they just blew him up soo much, and his story was ohh so convincing...my once weak impressionable and feeble mind corrupted by the lies of a glorified cadaver.

Well don't you think they will get another round of cash by changing all
the glamour compacts and inserts for eye color, blush and powders?
Gosh do my customers hate that one and so do I. This is my 4th compact change. My 1st was 2 or three months after I started and I
was stuck with usless glamor from my initial order and my 2nd order
($1800, then $2400 -skin care and glamour) At least the last few times
the inserts fit the 'old' compacts. I think when they announce this at
Seminar every consultant, TL and SD should BOO!

How does that change affect returning merchandise to the company? For instance they recently change the lip gloss formula...does that mean that when i go to return the stuff here soon, that i cant return and of the lip glosses i have because they are not the current formula? They were still purchased within the specified time frame....just thought i would ask. What a crazy company.

Justine - You will be able to return the old produce. Just try to find the receipt from you purchased it so you can get what you paid for it and not the sale prices.  I would include a copy of the receipt with products and prices highlighted.

When you return any discontinued product, they will only give you what they are selling it for at that time...their current wholesale price. right now i believe the old lipglosses are on pink sale for 8.50 retail. so they will give you 4.25 wholesale each when you probably paid about 6.50 initially? geesh.

They can tell what you purchased it for by the day codes.  I recently had a product return and the current price came up for an item and I was able to manually change it to what I paid.  On another item, it would not allow me to change it because the day code was later.  I would imagine repurchase is the same way, although I don't know 100%.

As for the $100 cash bonus for April and May, it was great for me.  My team did a little over $1800 and with my $243 order in April, I got an extra $100.  I liked it!

Repurchase does not work like a product exchange. They don't look at dates codes. I included things I traded with other consultants for and they don't look at what you sent back that carefully.

They give you the pink sale value apparently (not what you paid).
