Just an FYI for those who care

Discontinued shades:
-Copper Mine,
-Gold Dust,
-Magenta,
-Pink Coral,
- Pink Daisy,
-Red Salsa,
-Redwood and
-Strike-A-Pose Rose

(gonna be lots of sad directors without their strike-a-pose!)

New lipstick tubes will be black so everyone will have to order new product!   :yays:

Apparently new lipstick formula is going to have a slight vanilla flavor.

New compacts coming in the spring with magnetic holders. Wow! Cutting edge. (sarcasm alert!)

Imagine that!  MK changing the look of their products.

If I remember correctly, didn't they just re-do their lipsticks several years ago?? :wtf:

Yes they sure did prettyinpink.

MK tends to do redesigns of items every two to three years.

All the "customers" see the new, revamped lipsticks and compacts and such and they want the new ones, not the old ones. Which means you have to order all the new stuff. Which means you'll have to find a way to sell the old items at a severe discount. Which means you lose money.

I saw those.  I"m just wondering if they're discontinuing them completely, or just until they reformulate them.  UGH!  What a mess!

I thought those (on the list) were going all the way out!  The new eyeshadows are more like the size of your thumb & the new cheek colors, about the size of your little finger (well, mine and I have small hands!)  Same price.  Don't think people will be too happy.

Thank you, Pink Lighthouse, for helping me make up my mind to GET THE HECK OUT before all of this  :hitfan: !  I hated having to give away perfectly good products as 'prizes' for scheduling shows that in the end flopped or cancelled!  Or as thank-you gifts to guests who never ordered anything and never wanted to hear from you again (I don't blame 'em).  MK re-did their lip products like 2 years in a row in '05-'06, didn't they?  I was in then and so many colors on my shelf were suddenly not advertised to customers anymore in the Look Books or online.  The only way to sell those is to show them to customers in person.  I started a "Sale Basket" that I'd pass around at SCC's and let ppl look through, just to get rid of it I priced it all at 50% off.  So I was only making back what I paid for it, but not the shipping cost, my time/gas $, samples, etc.
