These stories are over the top!  :puhleeze:  Smoking weed....then finding out the 70 year old mothers are there, too!?  I feel like I am watching an episode of Cops, or Jerry Springer!  :bliss:  Poop lady?! :bafraid:  What is up with that?!  Ewwww!  mad2 Abusive situations? :hitfan:

I thought I was shocked when a younger girl (19 yo) called me because she saw my car and wanted to start a business, so she could get a car, too.   I was excited!  Went to meet her.  She seemed nice enough.  So I gave her a facial, her sister, who was in the navy, paid for the kit for her to get going, :congrats: and knowing that she had no $, we decided to have her debut at the end of the week so she could get some inventory.   :balloons: :balloons:

She came to her first training and I coached her about hosting her debut...really, I did. :gah:  When I arrive, there are beer bottles all over and no guests.  Okaaaay.  Her sister came home and said, not to worry, she would get her co-workers and neighbors there.  :thnkyou:
So she gets on the phone and invites people to a "drunken bash with food and facials."  Margarita Margarita drunks :hngry: :hngry: She was asking the operator for the name and numbers of her co-workers, even if she didn't know them.  Her sister had no fear!!

:doh An hour and a half later, a neighbor shows up with her baby and two male co-workers show up.  :jmp4joy: :jmp4joy:
Oh, I forgot, my new team member is in a white tank top with no bra, a marijuana leaf necklace, low cut jeans with a thong showing out the back....yes, she was coached...and she wasn't very thin or well-toned, so there was no pretty picture about this scene.  :wineo: :wineo:
The neighbor starts telling me about her new business and how we should work together.  She is a "passion" consultant and hosts sex parties that are so much fun!!!  :chrldr: :chrldr: :chrldr: (Oh yes, I am going to fit in sooooOOO well there)!  :puhleeze:

They had facials - guys too, and the only one who bought anything was the sister.  The new consultant is hitting on the two young navy men who showed up, telling them how beautiful her babies will be, (presumably with them), and how she could drink either one of them under the table. drunks drunks
When the poor pizza delivery boy showed up, the sister tried to scam him by saying the manager of the pizza store, "Mike" told her to tell him the pizza was free.  He didn't fall for it, so they had him come in and made him try the skin care while they got his money....poor guy, he didn't know what to do, so he sat down and had a facial by this new consultant.  :gagme:  Fortunately, they did give him his money and I finally got out of there.  I went home to have my own  :wineo:

My new recruit decided she might be a better "passion" consultant and I had to concur. :thnkyou:  :teehee: :teehee:

That was my worst experience, but geesh!  It doesn't even come close to some of the doozies here!   :amen:

Oh, wow... all of your stories are really amazing... and not in a good way!!  wink Please tell me WHERE those lovely hostess and customers who live in the big houses are anyway!!  You know... the ones MK shows in all their training stuff... or even right on their 'recruiting page' in The Look... the ones buying full Miracle sets and being the perfect customer!!  Good grief.   :gah:

I did many, many classes and facials in my short MK life.  Several homes were complete filth... dirty dishes everywhere, food smeared on the furniture, dirty diapers on the floor, junk/toys/etc. lying around all over, dogs bothering me, etc.  One floor was so sticky that my new black pumps actually STUCK to the floor!!!  Disgusting.  One class the husbands/boyfriends would not leave and stayed in the dining room with us... talking nasty... lots of bad language.  Most classes included little kids running everywhere and crying and screaming.  The women themselves were so inconsiderate... talking while I was trying to conduct the class, etc.  A few time I had a class where I would up to set up and the hostess said that no one was coming (after I had already called her and she said that she DID have x-number coming).  Many classes where they wanted to try everything... EVERYTHING... and purchased only a few dollars.  One class actually had 3 current MK consultants in it!!  No one had mentioned that to me when I called to confirm the who was coming!!

Thinking about all of this now... I just cannot even believe that I stuck it out as long as I did!!  And don't get me wrong... I had some really great customers too... my mother, my daughter, a couple good friends...  :teehee:

It makes my skin crawl thinking about those days!
