I have actually done several fundraisers for my children's school, the hospital auxillary, etc.  But when I am doing a fundraiser, I give the total profit minus shipping...when I was in MK it was enough just to get the sales credit.  The nice thing about alot of the fundraisers is that people order and pay first, so you don't have to order inventory that may or may not sell, first.  Additionally, I would have the organization accept the checks and I would place the order in front of them and have it shipped directly to them so they knew that I was on the up and up.  I think the fundraisers can be great if done well.

Don't get me wrong....I know that alot of people are looking for any way they can scam someone, but it can be done well also.

 Sick Sick Sick Sick Sick Sick... that is just wrong on so many levels.  And to use the church as a means to move that inventory!!  That just shows you exactly what MK is about.

Barf!  Selling MK as a fundraiser for a church building fund.  Anyone who is solicited like this should definitely complain to their minister, pastor, priest, deacon, elder, etc.  It may very well violate the bylaws of the church.  I know that the bylaws where I go specifically prohibit this sort of thing.  Fundraisers for mission projects are permitted, but the guidelines are strict and the event must be approved by the senior pastor.  No one is allowed to use a fundraiser for their personal gain.

and it doesn't even SMELL good!  There's stuff at the Body Shop that smells a whole lot better!
