Back in early March I did a Product Replacement for a lipstick for one of my few remaining customers.  After nearly two weeks the replacement lipstick still never arrived to me so I called Corporate... she said that I had to wait 10 business days for it to show up.  (Any replacement I had done before always showed up within a matter of days.)  So I waited... then got sick and didn't think about it... then DH had surgery, so didn't think about it... finally yesterday I called Corporate again about this one lipstick... I was told that it was too bad that it didn't show up, but now I am no longer a Consultant (as of March 26th...   :yays:) and there isn't anything they can do about it now.  I just thought this was kind of scummy of them... one lousy lipstick cannot be replaced...one that was ordered prior to my "Consultant-ship" being terminated... one that was lost in the mail (or something).  Stingy MK Corporate!

That's TOTAL baloney.

You submitted the product replacement when you were a Consultant, so they should honor it.

Can't remember...did you send back your inventory? Why did your "Consultant-ship" expire?

One lousy lipstick costs them about 2 cents. Plus they ripped you off because they didn't hold up their end of the agreement.

WOW- That sux! I hope they honor their end of the agreement if you call them back and push for them to do the replacement. You turned it in prior to your termination; no fair on their part!  Bash

If there is a way for you to still log on to In Touch, do so and see if the product replacement order is still there.  If so, call the company back and reference it.

If you have been terminated because of a product return, or for any other reason really, they should still be able to reference the product return.  When you spoke to them the first time, did they have a record of it?

I have done many, many product replacements and have never heard them say 10 business days from when they mailed it.  Perhaps they meant 10 business days from when you submitted it.  I have also never had them refuse to honor it, much less without an explanation to you.  I have always been overcompensated in all my dealings with them.

I urge you to try again, especially if you can access In Touch and see the order there.  Explain to them about the surgery and the reason for the delay in your contacting them again, and provide as many details abouto the transaction that you have.  I'm sure you still have your product with the day code, the customer's name that returned it and the date she did and what you wanted in return.  Hopefully you remember the date you did the replacement order on line.  Whatever you can provide to help them locate it.  Good luck.

10 days my foot!  I did one a couple of weeks ago and got the stuff replaced in less than a week.

Or, if MK is completely uncooperative, just have a currently active consultant run the code through her InTouch Product Replacement and have it shipped to you - she can select an alternative shipping address on the form.  Just an idea - and then MK still ends up giving you what you want, they just won't know it though.

I have a friend here who is still a consultant... orders only every so many months and only what her current customers actually order... anyway... I'm going to ask her to just do the replacement for me.  I don't think I want to mess around with trying to get it out of corporate.  When I was an active consultant I had done several product replacements for people and never, ever had an issue... always shipped it right away and it arrived quickly.  I know corporate is just being jerky and maybe I should hassle them... I may send a letter, but I don't feel like arguing over the phone.  (I can no longer log into InTouch as of March 26th).

Thanks for your support, girls!!

You are lucky you have someone you can ask to do that for you. I have a Custom Compact in my roll up and I just noticed when I was taking inventory of my remaining products that the finish on it wore off. If I had known that a couple of months ago I would have definitely tried to get a replacement but it is too late now. I don't think the finish on the compacts should wear off like that. The pink ones never had that problem.  :wtf:
