MK has ruined lots of words in my vocabulary for me (think "great" Sick) I find my self stumbling over synonyms when I would have used that word previously. I just can't come up with a good replacement word!!! So I thought I'd start a thread and ask what do y'all use to replace those words that the destroyed for us... I can't even use awesome or terrific in place of great... Sick Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I know how you feel! I'm like Jypsi I like fantastic and fabulous! Also (because MK frowned upon it) I'm good, I'm good and I'm good....there is nothing wrong with the word good! I now use "great" with a very sarcastic tone....(very dry and dark humour )

how about some of these for replacement words: thrilled happy contented rejoicing upbeat extraordinary! wonderful excellent groovy (that one is one of my favorites but it sure dates me! gal-pals there are some starters. I like Snoopy's idea here. I think our vocabulary is way too limited as it is. there is another over used word, "way"! How about , much too limited... jump in everybody! "FF"

I still use "great", because it was a word I used BEFORE MK and since I have taken back my life, I take back my words too!!!!!!!

I'm not at that point yet. "Great" was a favorite word of my recruiter/director. Every time I hear it (or even read it) I can hear her say it.

Thats cute Pinky Toe! I like that. Unfortunately for my daughter we have started calling her stink because it's the shortened version of stinkerbutt. We will have to change that soon I think.
As to my replacement for excited, I try to use pumped or thrilled. Those are good ones. Or if I'm feeling very slangish (is that a word?) I can say I'm stoked.
