Ok so here is her response to my email and I think it is quite funny.  I love to see a director have a good squirm once in a while!!  I haven't responded back yet and like I said she hasn't called me to schedule some "talk time" yet so hopefully for her sake she won't.  I don't think I'll answer but if I'm feeling witty I might have to!  Let me know what you girls think.  I'm taking suggestions as to what to type back!    See I can't return my product because then we wouldn't have our own little MK soap opera everyday......let's call it As the cadillac wheels turn!!     I do have to say this part of MK has been good for my spirits.  With all of the nonsense and laughter and such!  Enjoy!

I'm shocked.
And sad.  My stomach has a big knot in it.
We must talk.
I've always told you, no matter what, I'm here for you.      (Really? Were you there for me when my mother almost died?)

Why haven't you called me to discuss this?    (yes because I honestly believed we could actually have a discussion and not a one-sided conversation about the horribly wrong decision I was making)
I honestly had no idea you were having these thoughts.      (Imagine that!)
I knew you were having to take a lot of time with your mom, so I was just giving you your space.  But never dreamed you would give up your dreams in Mary Kay.   (Ok my dreams or her dreams?  Last time I checked I never had any MK Dreams!!)
 
You're a good consultant.  (Ok so that part is true!)  We'll talk & see if together we can find a solution.  I'm going to Indy tomorrow, so I won't be around, but maybe I can call you from the road & then we can find a time to hook up.
 
We all miss you.  We all knew you would be coming back when you got things back on track with your family.

Ok here is what you gotta do.  Call her while she's out of town and leave a message saying that you need to talk to her right away, otherwise you are going to have to return all that inventory.  Then when she calls back in a panic, don't answer.  Let her record a message to you. Then play it for us.

CCG, you're right.  I can always count on tuning in to the PLH (I guess it's the new "Guiding Light" ) and finding the latest wild and wacky episode with CCG's kaybot.  I'm just sorry that we're being entertained at your expense.  I wish I had some witty remarks for you to use... but you are waaay more clever than I could ever wish to be.

I'm just going to sit back with my  and watch the show now.  We now return to, "As the Pink Caddie Turns and Burns".

You girls have great ideas!  I may have try some of them.  It's funny because she still has not called me back so I'm sure she thinks it's just an idle threat. Little does she know I have already talked to a few girls in my unit who kept asking about me. I just let them know how I felt and that I was seriously considering returning my product because I know they will go back and tell her.  I'm sure after next Monday's meeting I'll get "the" phone call.  I'm so concerned that you want to give up on your dream.......the ALL AMERICAN PIE IN THE SKY DREAM!!! hehehe!!

hehe  is that a person laying there in bits in the first pic?  Maybe it my crazy director after one of her episodes.  I do feel bad for her but I don't have too much pity on her because she is not naive at all she knows exactly what she is doing to people and that she is being manipulative.  She has even told me how to be that way so unfortunately for her I don't think she's lost in the pink fog, I think she is the pink fog!   Or at least one of those evil spirits that kills you on that island when the fog rolls in!!   Maybe someday she'll get a clue though!

 

I love this site!  You ladies totally make my day!  Can I say, on this forum, that these directors are so full of it??   

I had two directors, my first was a "God-fearing" woman (i hate that they throw that into this business, i really do...since when did Christianity and making money go together?!?!?) Anyway, she would say "oh my garage!" instead of "oh my God.."

 

Anyway, I love the stories....
