When will MKC get out of the 60's and change the stupid "dress" code to permit pants?  I mean, if a WOMAN running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES can wear pantsuits, why can't an IBC going to a corporate event?  :gah:  Someone needs to bust the stupid time bubble they are in and get with the program!  :nuke:

They need to be more "on trend" and "cutting edge"...to use a few of their own phrases!

Mary Kay is so out of touch! I always laughed when the directors and higher-ups tried to get us all excited about how cutting-edge the company was....when they came out with products that other companies had had out for YEARS.  Pathetic!

I do remember paying at low as 18 cents per gallon when I first started driving.  And that was in the 70s.

And no ladies, that's not a typo.  Eighteen cents.

That part of the "good old days" I'd certainly like to see again! That, and having my '66 Mustang again...

I would like to see the Stones with Mick Taylor this time around PLEZ?  I was in preschool when they toured the US so my parents didn't let me go (or even tell me!) Can you believe that? I'm still trying to forgive them.

We need a time machine!  Maybe we could make one out of a pink caddie?   :1lmao:

Oh let's do that. We'd be the height of cool in our pink caddy. We can fill the gas tank, catch the Stones concert and have a few drinks all for less than $20.  :yays: We'll have to come back eventually though cuz there wasn't any pinklighthouse back then.

Julie, you crack me up!  I love holding them to the fire for not taking you to a Stones concert when you were 4...  rofl rofl

I went to see KISS when I was in 6th grade, and my Mother still doesn't know...  It was their last tour in make-up, and we thought we were beyond cool...

If we use a caddie as the time machine, can it be one of the cool 60s caddies??  With the sharp points and edges?

Oh yes, it has to have points and fins and a big old funky chrome grill! And those whitewall tires, gotta have them. If we use one of this year's models, people will diss us for having an nasty looking small car. And if it has GPS everyone will think we work for the KGB!  rofl

Ditto for my '69 Firebird!

All kidding aside those MK Directors suits are so tasteless! I always wondered why they would think it would be an incentive to strive to get into one of those suits. I would rather wear my own suits anyday!
