Well. Today I was at the grocery store and up walks one of my patients daughters. Well as I was signing my name, she looks at me and says "I knew your name looks/sounded familiar". Well when I questioned her why, she mentioned she seen my flyer that I had sent out for the executive shopping service, at my
guidance, to drum up some business for my not doing so hot FANTASTIC consultant career. She talked me into buying a BOAT LOAD of that private spa sugar scrub stuff that if you use it in the shower you might as well have an ambulance waiting outside because its a safe bet your going to slip and bust your ass on the slick tub. Well I sent out 110 of those fliers to local merchants/businesses and after the fact I felt really stupid and would eat broken glass before I would actually follow up on any of them.
But anyhoo...Today's encounter really opened my eyes up to some of the stupid antics I did all in the name of MK. The only good thing is that lady said that she too had be duped by MK and unfortunately went into waaaaay more debt than I did which didnt make me feel as stupid/embarrassed. However its not a good thing that she went into more debt than I.
