okay I totally missed this thread, and I'm cracking up over here!

Now I have one question: is this an MLM that got busted for conterfeit bags? Or just some guy who drives around in a shady van?

I'm looking for it without much luck... :pcwhack but I found some links that pretty much spell it out.

http://www.brandchannel.com/features_effect.asp?pf_id=187 is a great article on it and then I found this site http://www.counterfeitchic.com/ and apparently, purses aren't the only thing being copied!  Kate Moss has her new line and basically the pieces are turning out to be designs that she already owns or has worn!  She's recreating her wardrobe and getting paid to do it!

Judi, If I were you I would just tell her the truth.  Just say that you are not interested now and never will be.  Tell her that if you should ever decide you are interested, you will get in touch with her. 

I think sometimes these MLM reps continually bug us because we don't just come out and say, "No - I'm not interested.  Please don't call me about this again."  It will save you a lot of phone calls in the future!

I agree that she has to hear the actual word, "no".  I also like, "I don't like to go to home parties, and I make it a policy to not host them."
On the purse issue, I had heard that it was a way to feed the drug cartels and launder drug money......since I don't change purses to match my outfit, I am not going to spend money on the real ones or the fake ones.  My wallet works well enough. :wineo:

I always just simply say I don't do parties. Four words. It usually works. Most people give me a catalog and then leave me alone.
