Home party plan = MLM = lots of money for them, not so much for you.

After the holidays I am focusing big time on one of my three goals for this site---helping women start REAL home businesses. I've gotten a small start, but I am passionate about that. So much crap online, even from the sites that claim to help women.

You can do an all online business. But if you're going to do anything retail, you need to register a tax i.d. with the state. It sounds scary but it's not really hard. Most states have it all online now so it's easy.

that is what I am trying to find!  Something that is a real home business, there are so  many scams out there I am alittle too scared to even look any more.   :o

I am getting involved in Unitnet site maintenance and have 3 directors on board right now...it is just residual money and I love helping them maintain sites while they spin their wheels like hampsters in a cage....it's fun and takes about 2 hours a month to maintain the 3 so far.  I would love about 10 sites to take care of.....crossing my fingers.

hehe

Jockey Person to Person will sell me products at wholesale. My earnings and success will depend upon my ability to resell
the products directly to consumers through home parties, one-on-one sales and through my sponsoring of other “Comfort
Specialists” into the business.

Sorry But it is definitely MLM it does sound great but so did MK> crying crying crying

Well just to respond. I went to a dermatologist for 5 years nothing worked.

I love the cleaning products and love the entire Nicole Miller line.  It is just love of the product and with my full time job and family schedule I don't miss going to Sam's to get all the cleaning products etc...and there is no way I will buy skincare at a mall...hehe

It works for me... cancan

Hi Recovering - just my  twocents for what it's worth, but an mlm is an mlm.

Plus, it sounds like you want to avoid the 'party' thing and do most of your business online.  I don't know what Jockey's policy is, but I'd definitely check it out if your plan was to do anything online with it.

At Arbonne, the only presence we could have online (other than those with grandfathered sites prior to 2003) was an official Arbonne replication site.  Only problem with replication sites is that they get near zero traffic via internet searches (unless you pay additional $$$ to get them in the searches, which is another whole conversation).  And Arbonne's policy said you can't link and/or forward from another domain without approval from corporate (e.g., if i wanted to create a site with my own content to draw more traffic through the search engines, then link to my .myarbonne site), and you can't use the arbonne name in any domain other than the replication sites (and still remain a consultant).

Besides, odds are that if someone hears about Jockey P2P they heard about it from someone who is already selling it and will buy it from them anyway.

Hope I understood and that my response wasn't too long.  smiley

Anyway, I'd stay away from it unless you just love the clothes at a discount and want them for yourself in the event you can't sell them.
