Posting this here as well, for future reference.
In my continuing quest to always keep this site updated and fresh, I am please to announce your NEW and IMPROVED Profile!
Now you can add all sorts of things to your profile and make it your own.
To Enable Your Customized Profile: 1. Go to your profile by clicking on the "Profile" button at the top of the forum
2. Scroll down toward the bottom and find the section labeled "Modify Profile." (This heading is in a gray box.) Under this section, click on the words "Customized Profile."
3. At the top of this next page, make sure to check the box next to "Enable customized profile?" then scroll down and click the "Change Profile" button.
Here is a run down on the new features:
Add Pictures: Upload pictures of yourself, your dog, your cat, your garden...anything that isn't nude
1. Click on the "Profile" button at the top of the forum to go to your profile.
2. Click on the words "My Pictures" in the blue bar on the right
3. You are now on the screen where you can upload pictures. Click on "Add picture."
4. On this screen you can enter a title for your picture and a description. Then go down to the area labeled "Picture path" and click on the gray "Browse" button on the right. When you click this button you can navigate to the location of the picture on your computer. When you have selected the picture you want to upload, click on "OK" and you'll come back to this screen.
5. Click Save to complete the upload.
Add Content to Customized Profile1. Click on the "Profile" button at the top of the forum to go to your profile.
2. Scroll down to the bottom. You will see three dark gray boxes with headings of "Profile Info", "Modify Profile" and "Actions."
Under Modify Profile, click on "Customized profile."
3. Check the box at the top to enable the customized profile.
4. There are several other customization options here. You enable them by checking the box.
Only buddies can view my customized profile -- Check this box if you only want people you have designated as a buddy to view your customized profile. They will still be able to see your regular profile.
Disable comments -- With the customized profile enabled, members are able to leave comments on your profile, much like your user page on social networks like MySpace and Facebook. If you don't want them to be able to, check this box.
Only buddies can post comments -- If you want only people you have designated as a buddy to leave comments, check this box.
Disable new comments notification -- The default setting will notify you every time you receive a new comment. If you don't want to be notified, check this box.
Show my pictures only to buddies and admins -- If you only want the pictures you upload to be viewable by buddies and Admins, check this box.
The rest of this page is pretty self-explanatory. You can fill out the About Me section and customize further if you want.
My BuddiesYou can only make changes and adjustments to those members that you have designated as your buddy.
To Make Someone Your Buddy: 1. While viewing a post on the board, click on the their name. This takes you to their profile.
2. Under the heading "Contact Me" in that person's profile, there is a little two person icon and the words "[Add to Buddy List]." Click on that to add this person to your buddy list.
3. When you click on "Add to Buddy List," a message pops up and tells you that the person will be added to your buddy list as long as they approve your request. The person will receive a private message with the subject line "(name of person) wants to be your buddy."
4. You can now manage your buddies by going into your profile and clicking on the "My Buddies" heading.
To Accept Someone As Your Buddy1. You will receive a private message with the subject line ""(name of person) wants to be your buddy."
2. The text of this message says "(name of person) wants to be your buddy. Click here to approve or deny his/her request."
3. Click on the words "Click here" and you will be taken to the buddy section of your profile.
4. To accept a person as a buddy, click on the little people icon to the far right of the person's member name. They will then appear in the buddy list on this screen and appear in your buddies list on the main page of your profile.
To Manage Your Buddies (delete, reorganize, etc.)1. Go to your profile
2. Toward the bottom of your profile is a section labeled "Modify Profile." Click on "Edit Buddies."

http://pinklighthouse.com/bb/index.php?action=buddies3. You are now on the buddy editing screen. Here, you can easily access links so you can send a private message or email to one of your buddies. You can use the icons with the arrows, on the right of each buddy, to move buddies up or down in your list, so you can organize them as you wish. Clicking on the icon with the big red "X" to the far right will delete the person from your buddy list.
Leave Comments for a MemberI think this is fun. You can leave a comment for members on their profile, as often as you want.
Just click on the words "Add comment" toward the bottom of the profile.
That's the basics. I will post more if there are things I think aren't clear, but play around with it and post any questions here.
This gives you the opportunity to share more and customize things to express yourself and make it your own.
