Hi Everyone!

Well, I'm at it again.   :teehee:

I am in process of refurbishing our main site, PinkLighthouse.com.

I'm changing the format and design. I am basing the site on Wordpress because I wanted the site to be more dynamic and interactive. I have lots of thoughts and small articles in my head and the new format will make that easier to share those things and have discussion on things.

I just started the sprucing up so bear with me and excuse my web dust.

Only the main page has changed. If you accessed other pages and sections of the site before, they are still at that address. Once I have all the content moved, there will be automatic redirects so that your old links will still work.

Wanted to wait to announce this until I got things underway. I think once I'm done you will be happy. Lots new fun features in store for you!

PLEASE...wait to comment on anything that I have there. To be on the safe side, I'll turn off comments on posts. When the site is done, the main site and the forum will (if everything goes right!) be integrated so that your user name for comments and participation on the main site will be the same as on the forum.

Just wanted to give you an update...

The main site, pinklighthouse.com, is up and rolling.

We have a new, fresh look that coordinates more with the forum.

The Wordpress platform makes it easier for me to add content quickly and also makes the site more interactive, as visitors are able to comment on most of the content there.

I think the layout makes it easier to find more info quickly.

There's also a new section that I hope you will help me get off to a good start. There is a new page called Mary Kay Opinions which is an area where visitors can voice their opinions. I hope you will take the time to post an entry. (All entries have to be approved by me, so it won't show up immediately.)

In addition, all the Consultant Stories and the Lingo site, which housed all the MK Terminology is on the site. I'm consolidating everything to make one big resource.

Well I missed the previous layout but I happened to notice how slick the website and forum are. My husband works with computers so we're always staying updated with sleek and slick styles for everything around the house! It doesn't get old, lol? Anyway, I wanted to compliment the website and I just now stumbled across an apporpriate place to do it! Good job!  :thumbup:
