I have to tell you that so far no catch. No one bothers me at all. I place orders anywhere from 25.00 to 200.00 per campaign. 200.00 closer to Xmas for gift stuff. My SIL orders and thats pretty much it. I am a makeup addict too so I get my fix rather cheaply. I dont want to encourage you to join cause my area may be an exception. I honestly dont even know who is above me or even what the rankings are called. I have been in for 8 years!

The only really negative thing I've ever heard about Avon as far as the consultant goes is that there can be/have been lots of backorders on merchandise and even unavailabe after the order has been placed.

No catch yet. I don't sell it unless a friend or family member wants something. I don't buy brochures cause they have them online and there is always a few in my order. I just love the junk. If I want to try a funky color it costs so little that I don't sweat it.  smiley

Thats it...if I hate something I toss it. I have had backorders once in awhile but I order before the order is supposed to be in so usually I get it. I dont order brochures either. I mainly use the Whats New. They send a brochure with my order so I pass that around to family.

Yeah...I'd like to know more about the $10 sign up fee, too.

I love make-up, but a lot ends of getting tossed to given to my Mom or sisters.

But I could be presuaded...

Jen again...be careful. I really dont know what is out there. I  would really hate to have you run into a pitbull. But maybe if Pinknomore is in the same boat as me maybe you wont have a problem.

I would never push this on anyone. As Lori and I said, it is mostly personal. I don't even know who my "upline" is. I get a call every 3 months or so from someone asking if I am ok or have questions. That is it. I don't even know who calls me! Anyhow, my mom dosen't have much money so I order for her and it costs me very, very little. As I said, it's just for fun!
