Hi Ladies--been a while since I've been here--the new job keeps me so occupied I rarely have time to do anything more than.......well, sleep.  Just had to pipe in here and let you all know that I was convinced by a very good friend (who, I might add was a consultant under me in MK) to go to an Arbonne party.  It's hard for me to think that anything could ever be as cheesy as the MK facials or spa parties, but this thing ran a close race with it.  It's all the same crap--they "pamper" you with their "elite" products, the whole time telling you how great the company is and what a difference it has made in their lives--blah, blah, blah.  I sat quietly (and politely refused to participate) while she went on and on about these SUPER products and told her lies about being the first in this area to be able to offer Arbonne (I wanted to say "have you checked Ebay?).  So, what do I do???  Like I didn't learn my lesson the first go round, I ordered an acne treatment system--what a joke!!!  My face broke out so bad within just a few days of using the products that I chunked them into the case with all the other MK crap I no longer use and went back to the one thing I've found that does work for me.  They must just see me coming--like I've got SUCKER tattooed across my forehead.  But, I guess I felt guilty because I had completely shut her down right up front by telling her I thought Arbonne was a money-sucking scam and that the only way to move up or make any money at all was to recruit and frontload (I really didn't mean to be a b***h, but I didn't want to be there).  Never again will I venture out to these ridiculous recruiting events!!! 

Oh no!!!  No more Arbonne for me, LOL--my friends and family laughed so hard at me for even going to the stupid party!

okay, "lovemyarbonne" just signed up on the forum here, so let's give her a nice welcome and not be too negative. LOL
 

Ok, my coworker just had some pre op testing done today. The PA doing the question parts complimented her skin. My friend naturally said thank you. The PA then pulled out an Arbonne card. She ACTUALLY chatted her up about Arbonne while in a hospital setting doing the pre operative screeing for a patient. Can you believe the gall? My friend told me all this with such a grin cause she knows where I stand with the Arbonne crap!

wow - i cannot believe that. I'm always amazed when the dumb women working in a clinical setting try to use the opportunity to sell junk to the patients. UGH

I wanted my friend to report her but she was afraid to be put at the back of the line for pre op testing. She is so on edge as it was. I wish I was there.
