HELLO
opinions that don't all sound the same!!! Could it be I've found OZ?
I worked in retail cosmetics for 13 years, I did love the product I sold, we never hid the fact that we were part of the huge Lauder Empire, and that we were just that....a Cosmetics company. I did get out 3 years ago when my life and retail hours parted the way...his name was Garrison and he now keeps me more than busy. I found this thread more than interesting because I left Cosmetics for the Healthcare industry and expected more professionalism than what I've found. My step daughter just got signed up with Arbonne, enticed by her husband's boss's NVP Arbonne wife. Do you think I trusted my previous experience or instincts? I never did like Arbonne's approach to selling, I gave the company credit that it was just the way the salesperson 'digested' the sales lingo-certainly no professional company would give their fledgling sales people a script that included an account of how animal parts are made into mascara, or that bat guano is used in mascara. Well I would not have believed it till my stepdaughter downloaded a 'party in a bag' packet that describes what to pack to throw a home demonstation, included in the notes was the very info about how 'other cosmetic companies' formulate their products. I love the advice I was first given by my former compensate is you should never have to bash or bad mouth another product to sell your own. I guess Arbonne does have to use a 'fear' based approach to justify the purchase of very overpriced for the market products.
I am 'signed' as an appeasement to my step and daughter-in law, who got caught up in the frenzy that night. So far my friends and family that I have spoken to all either have a bad taste,(apparently Arbonne people are very pushy) or they did think the products were nice, but very pricey.
Any more info,--

perhaps Arbonne consultants-who do it their way and can tell me some straight figure's would want to give me hope for doing a modest business with these basically OK products that if represented fairly-WOULD stand on their own,
