I got my samples last night and I have been wearing the makeup all morning! It still looks great. bounce My face has not itched or turned into an oil slick....  cancan

Thanks for the recommendation on the Absolutely blush, TUP. I put a tiny bit of that on. I looks so good on my skin. I never wore blush because it always looked so fake on me This looks fabulous. I can't beleive that because it looks so dark I never would have tried it. I like the pink pearl eyeshadow too and have two more colors to try.  dance

I will have to get used to applying it but so far I LOVE it. Thanks, Lynn. I was ready to go naked-faced. smiley

p.s. I called BE to return my starter kit and they told me I had to return the two "free gifts" that came with the set.  I couldn't help but think of MK and their "free" training. cheesy cheesy. When I told the woman I was returning it because I was allergic, she started on what I could tell was a script and I said "I am allergic to the bismuth." That shut her up really quick  giggle It was so funny. I have learned so much here. You ladies are the best!

That is awesome, Julie!  I also tried the "marvy" blush and when I got it thought it would be too pink, but it is gorgeous.  Just a tiny bit and it is awesome on my white, white skin!

I am also using the foundation as a concealer too...

Well, what can I say? I did MK, I made no money and the makeup irritated my skin, so I made my own.  Cheesy Well, that's the short story, anyway.

I own Beauty Bliss Cosmetics. We specialize in handcrafted, natural mineral makeup. I offer all of my makeup as samples so you can try for a minimal cost before purchasing a full size item. I carry 17 foundations, 4 finishing powders, over 100 blush and eyeshadow colors and more.

I am very proud of my makeup line and what it has done for women's skin. We're open for retail and wholesale business. You can find lots of information on my product and the ingredients in it at my website www.beautyblisscosmetics.com

Oh my gosh!  How cool!  The "Lynn" Behind the Beauty Bliss Cosmetics!  Didn't realize you were a poster here!  I do believe "we" (over at PinkTruth) swampled you one week when Tracy put up "your favorite non-mk products" ---- your company's name came up over and over and we all ordered and ordered smiley

THX for all your great work Lynn! yourock

Julie, I'm so glad you updated and let us know how the colors and formulas worked for you. Haha, I LOVE your BE story! I'm sure she doesn't even know what Bismuth is, but that was a great comeback.  giggle

Thanks, TUP, for all your great recommendations and help.  yourock

I just got my samples today and wow, I love this stuff.  It is so much better than Bare Escentuals.  I got the matte foundation because my skin is so sensitive and I do not like the shine of the Bare Escentuals.  I am used to my skin being irritated. When I used BE my skin felt better than with MK.  But when I tried this there is no comparison.  I just removed my makeup and my face is barely red. And my face is usually very red.  I will definitely be ordering full size products in the next day or two.  And the prices are so much better than BE.  I like that you have the different color concealers.  I have tried to use yellow to camoflauge my redness but it only made my face look orange.  So it's goodbye MK and BE and hello Beauty Bliss for me.  And I love it that I am supporting an EX-MKer that has moved on and opened a business that can be profitable.  Because we all know that MK is not the money maker that it was made out to be.

Hi iluv2shop,

I am so glad your skin found a makeup that didn't irritate it. It's hard all the trial and error women with sensitive skin have to do. Please let me know if you have any questions, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Hi Lynn - I'm finally running out of my foundation, so I ordered some samples from Beauty Bliss yesterday.  I'm excited to try them; from all the glowing reviews I've read on this thread, I have high expectations.   yourock

WhatwasIthinking- Liberation, friend!  highfive  I hope you enjoy them.

Hey Jypsi- The concealor brush is back in stock ( dance), but the manufacturer for the eyeliner brush is giving me a real hassle ( Boo). I don't know if I'm going to continue carrying the brush, because of what they're doing. I haven't decided for sure, yet.

Velocity, I hope I live up to your expectations,  giggle. Gotta keep my peeps happy!

Thank you, TUP.  yourock How's the snow down there?

I just wanted to give a general update- It seems I can't get caught up. First the holidays, this week I had to be in Portland on Tues, so another lost day and Monday is MLK day, so the PO is closed! Argh.

I, will, however, have all orders from this week done and ready to ship on Tues.

OK, Lynn....I cannot remember which BB topic it was where you asked me to get back to you,  giggle but here it is.

I am using about half and half of Bisque and Bare (I was somewhere between an Ivory 104 & 204), and am foiling it with your Beauty Spritz rather than water, since I prefer the liquid feel to the powder.  yourock   Oh, I am also trying Marvie's suggestion, from PT, about using the Monistat Liquid Powder as a primer.

So, here's what I've found that works best for me: yellow concealer, 50/50 bare/bisque foundations, charm or marvy blush, and pure bliss finishing powder.

 Love Love Love Love Love

I'm loving my beauty bliss!  I have little sample eyeshadows all over my bathroom counter!  What fun to be able to try different colors without breaking the bank.  The foundation is awesome - lightweight, but still covers AND stays on all day!  I just ordered some more this week.  I wore 200 in MK and have found that Beige or a combination of Beige and Bare work for me.

Thanks Lynn!
