I just wanted to pop in and announce the Gentle Cleansing Bar is now available on the website. This is a great soap for sensitive skin, like mine, which can't tolerate lye, because it's a glycerin base. No fragrance, no colors, so it's suitable for any skin type. There ya go Sickie, TUP and PRDIVA I hope you it!

Oh, awesome. I'm gonna go there now and check it out! Hey I have a question for you. HOw do I apply the foundation? I have a kabuki brush that I like, but I think I read on your site that I dont need to buff the powder in, right? So how do I apply it without over applicating it? And also, at one time I posted about my pores looking huge with the Bare Minerals, and you mentioned to not use as much moisturizer or none at all. I have tried both, and my pores still look huge. Is there something I can put on my skin before the powder to minimize them? Thanks so much Lynn! P.S. I love the eye shadows! Especially the chocolate and the wealth! ~Caran

Hey TGIF, Sorry I didn't get here more quickly. To apply the foundation, you can use a kabuki, but because it is such a dense brush it will apply the makeup more thickly and you'll have a heavy, powdery look. If you've got a technique that you like with using the kabuki, then stick with it. Mostly for my customers I recommend a regular foundation brush. Dip it in the minerals, tap off all the excess and apply in a stroking/dusting method. Just like when applying regular powder over foundation. Pores are such a pain, aren't they? Boo Here's a trick I use- take a regular latex, flocked or other makeup sponge and dip a corner into your minerals. Just a small area. Then press it onto the pores. It should conceal them perfectly. It may take a minute to figure out how much foundation you need on your sponge, but once you've got it you can conceal pores easily. If you do use moisturizer before applying your makeup, just make sure it absorbs all the way. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Diva! I just have the funniest picture of you and your neighbors, All new moms need a little spoiling. And this addiction isn't nearly as bad as needing a new, sporty car. Thank you for being my PR (haha- get it?) lady- you're a natural. I gotta figure out a referral program so you guys can at least get something for sharing me with your friends. Have a great weekend!

Thanks, Lynn for the tip on pores! Is it weird that both the bisque and the naked foundation look the exact same on me?? Truly, I cannot tell a difference! Also, for those still using that nasty old scary kay foundation, order some samples from Lynn and be liberated! I used ivory 204 -- in fact, I think I am going to start a new thread for conversion from scary kay to beauty bliss foundation! Doing it now!

PS- Sickie, don't think I don't know it was you who sent all those product requests! j/k I've got the samples of Spun Silk, and I'm going to try to dup it this weekend. I'll keep you updated. What gave it away? That I SIGNED it "SICKNPINK" YAY! Hurry will ya? People are talking about the new spun silk from Lynn.........I get questions all the time in e-mails about your products and of course I have to tell them you are making a new color for us! And I also have to refer most of the "eyeshadow" questions over to PBB (Queenie Jeannie) as she is in HOG heaven and uses them ALL! Lynn, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! P.S. I'll pimp for you any day! Where do I sign up?

Hi Lynne,
No problem. I was so excited to finally find something that really matches my skin tone. I can't tell you how many colors I've tried. So many times I would think I had the right one only to find out later in the day that it was not working for me.
I so appreciate the sample sizes because I was able to order one of every color I thought would be a good match. I tried all of them too.
What's not to love- Great colors & Great prices!

Hi Lynn, I am one of your newest fan. Have tried the foundation sample, love it. As expected, I had to order several other samples to find the right shade. Earlier this week I ordered a regular size foundation, the cleansing bar and a couple of concealer samples. Cant wait to get them. I want to know do you have anything on your line specifically for acne pron skin. It seem the older I get the worse they get, specially once a month. I am 37, this is not supposed to happen to me. I need your help!

Hi Pinkbubble, for your kind words. I'm so glad you're enjoying the makeup. The acne-prone skin is a tough question. Mineral makeup typically helps acne from flaring up and reduces irriation, ruddiness and inflamation. The Mattifier is a good product to use for oil control to keep pores less impacted. The cleansing bar will help wash away all your makeup and the grime that has settled on your skin throughout the day without drying it out, causing more oil production which can cause more acne. However, if you're looking for something specific like an acne control gel or a benzoyle peroxide or salcylic acid cleanser, I don't have anything like that. I do recommend the "Zia" brand of masques and cleansers. You can find them at Whole Foods or Wild Oats. If I do start something like this up (a cleanser with tea tree oil or a pore refining masque) I'll post it here so you can be a tester. I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
