My  Kaybot is already on the phone and hotline suggesting that we order the new Holiday products now, especially the new Spa collections.  She suggest that we do the gift certificate for $150 worth of product for $100 and get at least 18 people to buy one so we can be a "star" this quarter.  I don't think our unit is doing that well because according to our newsletter she had one consultant that ordered the huge inventory package of 4100, and the rest have ordered only $400 or less.  Can't keep up production that way now can we??? hmmm

My  Kaybot debuted as 'Fabulous 50s' because she had 50-something people in her unit when she finished DIQ. (Only 30-something were active but still...)

It turns out that the majority of her people were friends and family that she convinced to drop $300 + tax and shipping to help her with her 'goal' of directorship.  So her first month as a director she did well, but its been on the decline ever since because most of her 'unit' is made up of people she begged to place orders to get her to 30+.  I know she even paid for a lot of it herself...

So she's in full frontloading mode now and struggling to do production without it...

SOUND FAMILIAR ANYONE?  hmmm

Sick Sick Sick Sick  I'm so glad I ran when I did - I was seriously heading down this same path...at the advice of my  Kaybot.  How can people defend this company?  It's beyond me.  It's such a joke.  Soapbox

The worst part is, the holiday products SUCK!  Bath&Body has better for cheaper, with actually nice packaging (the pear set is puckey green).  The velvet collections are ok, I like the gold eyeshadow but are NOT worth the money.  Boo

Been there, done that.  Wow!  I would just love to meet a genuine MK director who didn't sign up every grandmother in their family's address book to become a director or meet a goal!!!  Anyone, anyone?

Oh my gosh, my 4 year old is watching me type this post, and he just said, "What is Mary Kay saying?  Why isn't she done talking on the phone!?!?" Of course looking at the Kaybot smiley....too funny!  Here, hon, this is just for you:  Kaybot
