My best advice would be to return your product to the company for 90% buy back.  You'll probably have 90% of your investment in wholesale product purchased within the last year within 4-5 weeks after shipping it back!

Check out Returning Inventory for more details!

Welcome and good luck on the birth of your 2nd baby!

Rensam, I believe in being direct! THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE MONEY IN MK!!!!!! The reason you aren't getting a direct answer is because you aren't reading what we are truly writing, or rather, you are not hearing what we are saying!!!!! LOL  Love

You can not advertise, you can not have a sign in your yard etc. YOU CAN NOT GET PEOPLE TO COME TO YOU! THEY DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED!!!!! Women will go to the mall to buy what they want, they can look and buy if they want or walk away! The way you may get someone to you is to bug the hell out of them and they MAY come!

Rensam, I feel your pain, but MK is NOT the way to make money!!!!!!!! No MLM is!

Do what Lipstick said and move on!!!!!!

We are here to support you in anyway we can! (((HUGS)))

Rensam  :hiya:,

Like WWIT said, the reason no answers are posted is because it doesn't happen.

The only people who call me for MK are my sister & mother who buy at my cost!  My best customers have been fund raisers which I give them 1/2 of what I make - buy the time I pay the shipping, books & bags, -- Sorry, no $ made here.

If you need the $ fast, listen to Lipstick and send it back!

Best wishes for your pending delivery!

Wow, that is a dilema.  9 months preg. w/ another little one doesn't allow for much energy to go out 'warm chattering', which is hard enough to convince oneself to do.  I think it'd be even harder to keep all those MK scripts at the front of your brain w/ a little one in tow.

As previously stated, your MK contract doesn't allow you to advertise at all.  No newspaper ads, no signs on the local grocery store bulletin board, no tv ads, no sign on your house, nada.  They set the rules as to the few limited ways you can: hand out cards, keep emailing people a link to your MK website, talk to people, follow up on those look book mailings, etc. etc. same old crap.

I'm telling you, there are no secret tricks the "top dogs" aer witholding.  They likely got in when the market wasn't as saturated and the ones that actually keep their positions know how to be pushy salespeople.  My SD was AAAALLLLWWAAAAAYYYS "on", no moment of her life was really hers, lest she miss a MK opportunity to make a whopping $3.25 on an eyeshadow.

I tried over and over to make it work, I tried all the tricks out there.  I tried to lure customers with sales, with discounts, with BOGO promotions, with everything.  That still didn't bring in the sales I thought it would.  The few that it did, it was all at such discount I wasn't making any money.

Cancel your MK website if you're not going to send your inventory back.  Direct people to the main mk site and tell them to email you at (your personal email address or a new yahoo/hotmail one you make up just for mk) or call you personally to place orders.  Start charging a credit processing fee of at least $1 flat for every credit card order.  Or just cancel that and take checks/cash only.  I got a whole 5 to 10 credit orders per year that I was in.

I do agree that the best way to make cash fast in MK is to send it back to the company for the 90% buyback repurchase plan.  It sounds like you are hanging onto it thinking "I've got to make this work".  Maybe stay away from the rah-rah chants of the directors/recruiters for awhile so you can have an honest look at MK.  Look at your own track record with it, without some SD waving a big check around saying "but look what you CAN make, if only you...".  She's not telling you she keeps only a minute fraction of that, and that is doesn't even represent her usual earnings.  They tell you to fake it till you make it - but that's what they're doing too!  The pink dream, the life of luxury, it's all fake.  The very few at the top who stepped all over others, hurting people to get there, are the few who make any big bucks in MK.

I once "won" a phonecall with my NSD.  I thought "oh good!  now I'll know what to do to really start making money at this!".  Of course, I had to cover the charges for the call (typical MK), and she had NO NEW ADVICE for me.  She simply said "book, sell, recruit, order".  Do the 3+3+3.  I was like, "that's it?  that's all you've got for me?".  As much as that doesn't work for so many consultants, it boggles my mind when I think that I *was* busting my butt with every bit of my free time trying to make it work.  I can't imagine how much more you have to run yourself into the ground, keeping your thoughts "pink", running around until you finally find someone willing to hold any type of sales appointment.  Then, you're supposed to be double booked, because those long-awaited-for bookings all too often cancel.  It's a life of high stress and unpredictability.  You're never sure if the set of classes you've got for the weekend will hold, and if they do, if you'll make more than $75 from them.  Nowdays people are trimming the fat from their budgets.  Most women already have some makeup and skincare and can't afford to switch to something that expensive (for the avg. person).  Unless they were using Christian Dior or Chanel for skincare that is - in which case they'd be turned off by the quality of MK in comparison.  Despite what MK tells you, there are some department store brands out there cheaper than MK, and better in quality (per the ingredients list).
You can keep fighting the uphill battle if you choose, and trust me, if I had any way to make it easier I'd share.  But like I said, even when I asked my NSD, she didn't have anything new.  You know, the old "why re-invent the wheel?" thing.  They say it works.  :nutzo:
My advice is to get out of MK, it's a money sucking pit.  Get that nice fat blue check.  Also, see the thread around here called "ways to save money" or "tips for saving money".  You could start listing everything you can spare on craigslist or a local yahoo garage-sale group if there is one where you are (or a local radio buy and sell call-in show, etc., you get the idea).  With a new baby and a little one, you should probably rest for at least 6 wks. after delivery.  Maybe *after* you call MK repurchasing dept. to get the amount you're eligible to send back, if you have some time until it has to be postmarked, you could offer everyone you know a 1/2 off or whatever type of discount you choose to get a little money quicker.  I'd make it on a pick-up only basis, that way you're not spending gas $$.  Sorry we can't be of more help, it's not because we don't care, it's because MK plain and simple is designed to profit the person who brought you in when you order.  But dont' go and turn good customers into teammates - that's financially stupid.  I did that per the advice of MK and my SD.  I took a gal who always ordered too much stuff (she was self-indulging and doing the shopping therapy thing I think), her small orders were $100 or more every time, and my SD said how she'd be perfect to recruit.  She signed up and I got a lousy $14 check (that was the last one - which was the hightest) per year for the one time per year she ordered after that.  She just signed up to get the personal discount for herself, her daughter and her mom.  Don't fall for the hype.
Love Hope it all works out and life gets easier for you!
