Do ya REALLY want it???  Here's our update so far for December for our Cadillac re-qualification, which must be done by December 31st :
 
$6,522 with 31 ordering consultants
 
68 non ordering consultants....still need $41,477 to finish by December 31st.
 
If the 68 non ordering consultants placed a $609 wholesale order OR some of you DECIDED to make yourself a Star Consultant at the beginning of this new quarter.....IT CAN GET DONE!!  Think about getting yourself "set up" now for business into the new year.  Sales are sooo much higher and loyal customers are built from consultants who have product on hand to service those customers.
 
This achievement is a team accomplishment, I can't do it by myself....we need YOU to be the "U" in our unit.
 
Sales are abounding right now if you are willing to look for them, so if you are wanting more, needing more and you WANT to work....it's out there for you too!  The mineral powders REALLY do sell themselves....just carry one or two around with you and let your friends, family,co-workers just try it.....did YOU  get some for yourself yet?????
 
I know you are all as busy with the holiday season as I am and it really does create "opportunities" to sell on the fly or to meet new customers.
 
And this reminds me of a suggestion Kathy had for us this morning:  make up Christmasy-looking Facials in a Bag....put in there the TimeWise Skin Care Samplers, the Microdermabrasion Sampler, & a Color 101 Trend Looks Card along w/ some red & green Hershey's Kisses and pass out to EVERYbody!  Follow up w/ a phone call to set up appts. for a new "Look" for the New Year!  The week between Christmas and New Years is GREAT!

 
Also those last few days....why not have an IRS Sale?  Inventory Reduction Sale off everything IN STOCK Dec. 27 - Dec. 31.  20% off if they pick up.  15% off if mailed or delivered!  Of course, YOU are the boss; so you can decide how you want to do it!   I'm going to make up postcards NOW to go out so they arrive on the 26th.
 
Another idea.....why not call your very best customers or prospective customers and offer the DEAL OF THE YEAR!  :o)  Suggest that IF she books & holds a pampering session w/ at least 2 of her girlfriends before the end of the month.........that, in addition to a great Hostess Gift, you would also LOVE to offer her ____ % off for the ENTIRE YEAR, January through December, 2008!  (You decide the percentage.....say, 15 or 20%)   IT WILL WORK! 
 
Maybe you know someone that has mentioned to you that she might be interested in looking into getting into Mary Kay......WHAT A GREAT TIME FOR THEM TO GET STARTED!!!  Any new team members that sign up this month will get a free jar of the mineral powder FROM ME as a signing bonus.

Somebody knows she is in TROUBLE during her "re-qualification" month for the Caddy.  The only reason she is offering a FREE Mineral Powder as a signing bonus to new recruits is she KNOWS she is going to be placing a MASSIVE personal order or multiple orders under/through others in order to make qualification this late in the game.

Sounds like a director is barely hanging on to her caddie and is desperate.  My CPA told me that you should not have a lot of inventory on hand at the end of the year, in case you have to pay taxes.  And who wants to count a bunch of stuff.  Directors make it seem like inventory is the greatest thing.  It is great as long as it's flying off your shelf, which we all know doesn't happen in MK because there are much better brands out there. 

And of course were you supposed to order the 17,000 retail BEFORE you sold it?
