I feel left out.  I have never be warm chattered!

Me either!  I must not be sharp enough *sigh*

Do I need new clothes on my avatar?  Maybe I'm smelly?  faint  Is that why no one warm stalks me?  giggle

"Excuse me, Ma'am ? I couldn't help noticing your fragrance. Would you mind telling me what you're wearing ? Oh, that smells just GREAT!! And , you, other Ma'am - why, you are just about one of the sharpest ladies I've seen today. You both just look GREAT!! May I ask your names ? Oh, myCaddysNotPink ? And you're SicknPink? So, are you ladies related ? No?... well, you're both just so SHARP and GREAT.  Because you both just look so SHARP and GREAT, I'd like to introduce you to some really GREAT fragrances. I have a delish one I just know you'll love...it's called MK Tribute and it's just GREAT!  I am so impressed with you both, please hear my heart and know that I would just love to introduce you to another just GREAT woman. She and I are both Kaybot and would just LOVE to have you attend an event we are having tonight. Is there any reason we couldn't borrow your faces to be in our model search ? Couldn't you just get soooo EXCITED about being a model?!? Well, that's just GREAT!!!"

I was not about to let either of you go one more minute with have been warm chattered. I know, your life is complete now...no thanks necessary.   smiley

Believe it or not, you are having your way with me. I find myself recognizing the bs as bs now, instead of just accepting it as truth or earnest advice. All thanks to you ladies!!  bighug
AND, you will be happy to know, I have recommended PL and PT to a good friend/sister consultant in my unit who was really pi$$ed about the color line changes. She is now lurking/learning!!

I would leave you good karma, but apparently i'm still too much of a newbie.   crying

I bet you were a smash at MK with an approach like that.  Don't know if anyone has seen the movie "office space" which is one of my personal faves, and if you have ever been a cubicle dweller, you know what I mean.  anyhoo, something about the tone in your post reminded me of that. . .

Hi Curiously - you HAVE to see the movie if you spent any time as a cubicle dweller.  You are TOO funny!!!! Thanks for the  :hearts  - will pay it forward when I am able.

btw - it's not just "kaybonics", it's "MLMonics" - they're all the same - "if you keep doing what you're doing, where will you be in 5 years?". . . .

"if you keep doing what you're doing, where will you be in 5 years?". .  ?

I used that statment when I had a paying job, way before I got into MK. Well actually a bastardization of the same phrase. Mine was "If you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on gettin' what you've always gotten"
Hey, it looked pretty cool on a big ol banner spreading out across the manufacturing plant!
I was a Quality Engineer/Quality Manager and was responsible for continual improvement activities and ISO9000 implementation/compliance at my plant, among other things.
Ever read Dilbert ? Remember the ISO "Stupid Label" guy, that put identification signs on everything?
That was me, that was my job. When I first got into MK, I was really impressed that they had caught on to some legitimate "business" practices....silly me. Now it just makes me a little  Sick
MLMonics, hm? Say that real fast 3 times...   rofl

I was a Quality Assurance Manager for a telecom company, so I know just what you mean.  I love Dilbert, although since I left the corporate gig (blessed to be home with my babies for the time being) I don't read it much anymore.  I used to get a lot of them via email at work.  giggle

I guess it's true that if you keep doing what you're doing (and that isn't working) you'll still be in the same place, but geez, MLM as the answer?  doh!  what was I thinking?

I've been harrased by the hand product people (and I have NO nails because I bite them!!) I'm NOT gonna buy an overpriced "magic buffer" for nails I don't have!

I didn't know this was a nationwide thing--I thought it was just local pushy people!!! Anyway I got sucked in by them before Christmas a couple of years ago and ended up getting suckered into buying not one but TWO kits from them! I have never been so disgusted with myself in my life. I was going to return them but my sales slip said "all sales are final". So, I decided to make some good come out of the situation and put the sets in nice gift bags and took them to the YWCA shelter and asked the lady at the desk to give them to a couple of the residents for Christmas. Another good thing that came out of the experience--I have made a promise to myself not to buy from hard-sell salespeople anymore. If the salesperson has to try that hard the product must not be that great anyway, and if it's something I can't live without I'll buy it from someone else.

I don't get warm chattered either.  Maybe I would look slammin enough if I taped my credit cards all over me.
