Yeah, for some reason I haven't deleted all that crap from my computer yet - although I could really use the space for downloading more music. . . hmm. I have thrown out all the handouts and notes from unit meetings though. That was at least 3 trees that didn't need to die.

Doesn't it feel like a cleansing to get it all out of your system?

Woo-hoo for freedom! bounce

Let's all sing it together, ladies, "Freedom, ohhhh freedom....."

Ahhhhh, for some reason when my husband backs up the computer files, he accidentally reloads the old MK files. I keep telling him the only thing I need re MK are the letters I sent when I stepped down, sent back the product, and the letters I wrote telling MK I was not a consultant anymore when they kept trying to charge me for chargebacks in my unit that happened after I sent it back!  BTW they haven't sent anymore of those statements, so if that's happening to anyone, definitely let me know.  I'll upload my letter.

The joys of decluttering!  Kind of feels like taking a nice hot bath after you've been playing in the mud, eh?

Free:

those chargeback letters will continue, even if you aren't in Mary Kay anymore. They can technically force you to payback those commissions even if you aren't a director anymore. Marisabel got the same kinds of bills. But it shouldn't last longer than a year past the date of your last recruit's order that you earned a commission from....because of the 1 year buyback thing....

Yes! I still get them, but I just trow them away.

I decided not to give them more money, the only thing they've done is just send me the letters....

I wondered about that, PC but I think I might be in the clear because they haven't sent me anything for about 4 months...and one of the consultants sent it back at her one year, which was 5 months after I sent it back....

AT LEAST I'M HOPING!   crying

I wonder if they can put the fact that you don't pay the chargeback on your credit report?

I had so much fun this week.  I threw all of my literature, cd's and mk stuff in the trash.  I was so giddy while chunking this garbage in the can if someone was watching they would have called the paddy wagon.  It was a form of therapy for me--a new year a new me.  I am ready to put this behind me and do something else with my time, instead of obsessing over who I could unload this crap on.
