Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Just read your posts. Thanks for your support. The more I look back at it, the more I am pissed at myself. What the heck was I thinking to listen to them?  The director has one child who is 8 and treats her like she's always in the way. The 2nd person there (at the "let's convice her to go to seminar" day) is very selfish and lost her directorship for it and was pregnant with her first child, and the 3rd person there didn't have any kids and was the one who said "do it for him". I should have judged the sources of information. The director also said it's good for me and the baby, "to learn how to not just focus inwardly and be home all the time." Arghhhhh!!!! Beeee-otch!!!       Boo OK, I don't need this anger. She has to send back her commissions made off of my repurchase real soon here. my inventory of $3700. Ha ha ha ha ha. "It's GOOD for you. It'll teach you how to not focus inwardly and love money so much and be a self-serving wench dressed up in a "Lets bless these women" fake pink package!!!!" Whew. I'm better now. Thank you.

I don't think your friend gets the credit for this gem. http://www.funnyandjokes.com/pictures/funny-billboards-2.phpScroll down the page. I also got this in an email a few months back when I was still in the fog. Wonder if my mom was trying to tell me something?

I've always wondered why I felt so bad about myself after going to a meeting. I always felt like I wasn't good enough. I never fell totally for the pink dream, but I fell for it enough. The ladies took turns telling how much they've sold in the last week. I know most of these women had to be overshooting their sales. I would sit there with my measly sales and I felt like such a failure. How in the world is everybody bragging about their sales supposed to lift up someone who is struggling? It just makes them feel like more of a failure. It sends the message that if you're not doing what these ladies are, then you are wasting the director's time. I got to where I didn't want to go because I got tired of the brag-fest. It's suggested to sell to business customers for Christmas and Secretary's Day. Most bosses do not want to spend very much on a gift, if they get their secretary a gift at all. These people would brag on how they sold so much to business customers. When you saw the amount of their orders it did not reflect this. Either they had a lot of leftover inventory that they sold these people or they were making numbers up.

They were lying about the sales.

This thread has been around for a while, but reading it makes me wonder about 'Bots and their sanity. For me it's not about the specifics of the situation so much as it is the fact that nothing seems sacred to these people. They don't respect choices made by new mothers, they don't respect the needs of the bereaved, they make no allowances for inclement weather, even. There doesn't appear to be any facet of life that they're not prepared to control one way or another. What a crock. Peer pressure - it's not just for high school anymore. for getting clean.

It's nearing scaminar time again and I just wanted to boost this asinine idea up to the top again so that any lurkers or anyone being "encouraged" to go to scaminar with a newborn will see this.
When my babies were newborns and I was nursing the last thing I needed was rah rah all day long, no rest, not enough water to drink, not enough time to feed and/or pump, crappy food, late nights and in a bra and panty hose for 12+ hours!!!
New mommas!!! PLEASE do not let your kaybot make you feel badly or "not part of the team" when you choose to stay home from scaminar because you have a new baby or an older baby who is still nursing.

I would tell that to shove it up her A$$! Family should always come before any job (or scam in this case). What a joke to think that a mother should leave her baby and MAIL her milk to them for some stupid rah rah meeting...someone was obviously smokin a little sumthin otherwise is just a total stupid B!@*H Well thats my anyway.
