I think I found a use for all those endless samples my  Kaybot pushed on me.   I could give them to my daughter so she can put make-up on her Bratz makeup head.  (Sorta like the old Barbie head that you could put makeup on ony it's Bratz now.) then I could take it to a Unit meeting so everyone could oh and ahh and tell her how great she looks then try to sell her on the Marketing plan and recruit her. smiley Jumping

As long as they can make up a SSN for her and charge a "qualifying" order - I'm sure anyone would love to have her on their team!

I have lots of sample crap, too.  I'm thinking of trying craigs list.

one idea for samples, if anyone has a daughter or niece or something that is in dance.  they will use them for the recidles.  all of the little girls wear eyeshadow and lipstick and blush...the older ones mascara

just a thought smiley

I gave a ton of color samples to all the kids I know -- they love it for playing "dress up" and for putting on shows for their family and friends.  Amazing how the ones under 8 love this stuff...  smiley

I am now the coolest lady on the block...  And their Moms love me because I am not trying to sell them anything!   dance

Neat ideas.  I am using them all up, slowly that is, and the ones that I can.  I paid for them and so I will be using MK for awhile.  But once I am done (and FREE) I will be moving onto bigger (and better) things.    smiley

Last year I donated some to the Katrina refugees that were displaced here in TX.

I have TONS of those stupid Color 101 cards that we were encouraged to buy lots of...I'm donating them to a local domestic violence shelter.  I have a friend who volunteers at the shelter and periodically does makeovers with the ladies there to help them feel a little more human.  That'd also be a great place to get rid of inventory if you just wanted to donate it instead of selling it!

I'm planning to do a variety--keep a few for myself and my mom and daughter, sell some to a  Kaybot friend, then sell my sample carriers loaded with samples on ebay, and donate the rest to a women's center.  I almost got out a few years ago right around the time of hurricane Katrina--and I sent a whole lot of samples and bags, travel sizes, mirrors, etc down there (with baby formula, clothes too)  It didn't cost much to ship, and I thougt at least if I were stuck in a shelter with my daughter, we would have fun playing makeup.

A word of warning ladies: in my town some consultants donated to the local domestic violence shelter and the workers took it home! My advice is to hand it straight to the ladies yourself.  Even if that means coming back periodically until you don't have any more, its worth it.  For once, you could use mk to touch someones life for real! The way I see it, actually having contact with the ladies is even better.  They don't have a lot of outside contact (my friend went throught this) and just talking about kids and makeup can be a good change.

Just thought I would tell ya'll what I am using alot of mine for:

This Saturday my soon to be 7 year old is having a Diva/Glamour/movie star birthday party, so we are starting off with makeover for all the girls.  I recruited (bad choice of words haha) my 16 year old to do this part.  Anyway, after that they are getting their pictures taken and going to glue them onto a 9in gold star.  Then they are going to play girly games.  Then have pizza, cake & icecream.  Like a movie star they must eat with manners ect.  Then at the end we are going to do a red carpet entrance into the living room where they will get their grammy awards.  Then they can take home their little trophy I bought for each girl.  It will be so fun, what do ya'll think????
