I am completely addicted to the Food Network.
My favs are Unwrapped and Good Eats.
I had been passing up Ace of Cakes because I thought it was another Iron Chef kind of show, but with cakes.
I finally watched one night and WOW!!!
Those people are ARTISTS!!!!

If you've never watched, check it out some time. It's a kind of bakery reality show; it's funny and the cakes they create are amazing.

I love Good Eats!

Ace of Cakes is good too.  They make some awesome cakes.  They made a wedding cake and I think they said it cost $1500!

There was a "Super Sweet 16" party cake that was absolutely awesome and cost $1800 !!!
But the imagination and hours of work that goes into the cakes is pretty wild.

Love  Love Food Network, too!  I'm impressed by "conventional" artists, but to see someone express their artistry via baked goods is phenomenal!!  I'm dumbfounded every time I watch!  Oh, and Good Eats is my FAVORITE!  Love it!  :hearts

I love the pastry competitions and the world awards for cooking with chocolate. I love Top Chef on Bravo though.
