Upyourcadillac:

I understand where you're coming from and I agree with you.

The funny thing is that some of the same people who criticize celebrities for having injections/surgery are also the ones who are critical of them if they have a wrinkle or two.  So it's kind of like they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

What really bugs me is the "frozen forehead" look.  Facial expressions are a vital part of an actor/actresses career, and it looks weird when they can't "furrow" their own eyebrows.

I love the fact that we can having differing opinions and still be nice.  Thanks for continuing that.

My best buddy is about to get some work done.  She is 38.  I thinks she doesn't need it and that it is weird, but she wants it and guess what?  We are still buds...

Imagine that.  Adults, just like here...

Well, that's what friends are for....in good times and sag times (not a typo, I'm just being punny today!).  Obviously you are a true friend and are willing to support her, even if you don't agree with her.

What gets me about the advertising for these procedures is that they seem to intimate that if you have X done, you will get a 20 something year old man.  I don't know if it was a commercial for Botul-tox or what, but it looked like they were having a 20 something man chasing after a 40 or 50 something woman.

I'm 43, and most of the 20 something men I have come across don't turn me on one bit!

Amen, Michelle!  I would rather DIE than be with a 20 year old boy!

Kinda like when people talk about cheating on your husband -- why would you want TWO men to deal with??   :wtf:

Youth is a circumstance you can't do anything about. The trick is to grow up without getting old.

I don't even have one man in my life.  I can't imagine having the energy to have two!
