Ok Ladies I may be aging myself  here but I remember Morgan Freeman when he appeared on The Electric Company giggle ( a show similar to Seasame Street) And also, Denzel from "St. Elsewhere".    faint  I thought they were both great before superstardom hit for either one. cool

NO WAY!!!!  Oh man, I wish I could see a re-run!  I LOVED electric company!!!!!  highfive  I never got into St. Elsewhere, but hey, there's a chance we might be from the same generation.  Of course, that would depend on whether or not it was our KIDS who watched EC...  giggle

Help me out, I'm drawing blank on the name of one of my all time favs. It has Steve Martin & Michael Caine as con men in Europe in a contest to get a chick to fall in love with them ???

Really guessing here, but was it Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?

Hi Free wave,  It was me who watched them.  I was a small child.  I don't remember much but I do remember Morgan and the them song for some reason smiley  "Hey you guuuuys"!  The only reason I tuned into St. Elsewhere was to see Denzel.

Which reminds me of the movie they were both in  "Glory" which also starred Mathew Broderick -- Grrrreaaat Movie!  I think Denzel won the Oscar for best supporting actor for that one. clap

oooo!  Speaking of Denzel,  he was on Oprah today.  I don't watch Oprah much but had to catch it to watch him. He seems like such a nice person. He's been married over 20 years and they have 4 kids.

(Uhoh  I hope I don't seem like a "spaz" because I was the last person to post and now I'm responding again- ack giggle)

Luckyone -

Yes - Fight Club is an excellent movie - love it!  I also love Usual Suspects and the old Hitchcock classic Rope.  On a girly note - I can't get enough of Pretty in Pink (not MK pink!) Footloose and Groundhog Day.  Oh - and watching Home Alone has become a holiday tradition in our home.  I was a media major in college so I was fortunate to be exposed to a variety of films and have an appreciation for various genres.  Two truly classic films are Double Indemnity and Sunset Boulevard - any other B&W film buffs out there?

I loved the breakfast club.  Can you believe it was rated R?  Now-a-days it would only rate a PG13
