No, I am not waiting until the moron has his day in court. Nope, not waiting until ALL the facts are out. If he steps onto the field this year, I will join every boycott organized!
Dogfighting is disgusting and cruel and illegal. He took it much further than any case I have ever studied or dealt with by using the methods they did to kill the losers. What a joke -- the poor dogs are termed losers by the biggest losers of all. I think the WORLD will be sickened with him when it is over.
Out of the NFL, lose all endorsements -- who on earth wants their little boy looking up to a (please fill in the blank with your favorite choice word) ??

I sure agree with you TUP.....I know you're innocent until proven guilty, but there's way to many facts showing he participated in this, and I think it is disgusting that anyone would use dogs, chickens or whatever to fight like that. And the way they killed those dogs.....it's appalling. I live about an hour from Va. Tech, and I got so sick hearing about him and his brother, it's like they put them up on a pedestal or something. They have a good football team but you have to wonder how much studying these guys do cause they're practicing all year long.  And I'll be right there with you TUP boycotting. |

I live in Atlanta, and this is just one of many (although the most severe) disgusting things about Michael Vick. He actually has a "handler" that gets him out of trouble and keeps his name out of the papers.
I hate the Falcons anyway. College football is way more popular here...I swear I don't know a single person who goes to Falcons games.

Thankfully the league kept Ron Mexico (some of you may remember some of his past indiscretions that gave him that nickname) out of training camp, and hopefully it means a harsher punishment will follow. If the league can suspend PacMan Jones for a year with no guarantee of being reinstated because he can't seem to behave at nightclubs and strip clubs, the punishment for harming helpless animals have better be severe. I can't fathom fans cheering for an individual who can be so cruel and despicable to innocent animals!

Like Pacman Jones, Vick is being charged with a felony crime. That is serious business, and there would be no excuse for Vick to be treated more leniently than anyone else. I hate that these things continue to taint a pasttime that I love. It should be that, a pasttime, not something riddled with criminal behavior.

I was appalled to haer about what was done to the dogs when they lost! I can't imagine having the stomach for dog fighting, let alone killing hoards of innocent animals because they lost!! The dogs didn't let him down; heg let them down. I hope the punishment really fits the crime on this one!

I agree with you guys 1000%!!!!! When I heard the allegations, tears welled up in my eyes. I have 3 dogs at home and love them sooooo much. They are a huge part of our family. When my mind reflects upon how cruelly and inhumanely those dogs were treated, it just rips my heart out. I really try not to think about it or listen to it on the news because it's so awful!!!
Michael Vick a COWARD for abusing those precious dogs. He should be sent to jail BEFORE his trial like so many other "innocent before proven guilty" people. Just because he is a professional athlete, doesn't make him any better than anyone else.
I think that entire Vick family (i.e., Marcus) needs some serious help.

I agree, Vick is no role model and if what he was supposedly involved in IS true, then he deserves the worst punishment possible. Any bad treatment of an animal is wrong! That being said...i wish they would stop covering all this stuff on the news. I am sick of hearing about paris and lohan, vick and that stupid sell out nba ref, and all the other "famous" idiots in the world! Isnt there more important things going on in the world to be focused on??? I seriously HATE the media!!! Sorry..just a lil vent there.

Thank you so much for urging the NFL to suspend Michael Vick! Because of your action and those of more than 263,000 others who contacted the NFL through our campaign, the league yesterday ordered Vick to stay out of training camp. We're pleased, and we will press the NFL to keep Vick off the football field until the resolution of his felony dogfighting charges in federal court.
I received this e-mail with an update on the Vick news. So far, so good.
The Humane Society is now launching a campaign to have Nike drop Vick. Nike has already removed his products from their online store, but still have products in their brick and mortar stores.
