The scary thing about this is that churches that follow this character are springing up all over the country. There was an article in the local free newspaper this week about a church that meets every week in the conference room of a local motel to worship this fraud. Reading the article made my skin crawl.

HELLO! Are these people nuts???? Or have they never read the Jesus was WITHOUT SIN!!!!!!!!!  This guy was in prison.....I can image he had some sin issues there! When does it say that Jesus comes back as a middle aged man that smokes, drinks, and likes good looking women???? Just my  I feel better now! Love you guys! |

Me and hubby watched the beginning of this and I could not watch anymore, I was floored.... This man has A LOT of nerve, unbelievable!!! And, yeah, I'm sure "no sin" suits him just fine since he is an ex-con and a druggie!!

Here's another shiny example of an individual pulling only those parts of the Bible that are most attractive and that support a certain lifestyle. Yuck! There was a part when the reporter asked Jose what he thought about all the people who were protesting him and his claims and he said, "Like my predessor said, 'Forgive them Father for they know not what they do." Immediately I thought, "If there's no sin, why do they have to be forgiven for anything?" According to his teaching, they should be able to do whatever they wanted. I guess that's not the case when someone is protesting against him.
I'm thinking that when Christ returns, we're all going to know it. There will be no doubt!

The story I saw about this guy said his largest group was where he started in Miami. He ran to Texas to get some "peace and quite" from the followers that where hounding him. He has not been received too well here. I just know I don't want to be anywhere close to him when the lightening hits. That's the thing about this great country, even self proclaimed gods can live freely.

I have very liberal views but this is crazy. First of all, i refuse to believe that behavior on earth plays no part in who gets to pass the pearly gates and who is sent to eternal damnation. I was molested by my father for many many years growing up and I find it hard to imagine that he would end up in the same afterlife as myself, especially since he has never been punished for it here on earth nor has he repented for his awful deeds. I also would remind this guy that human punishment is nowhere near the rath that awaits someone in hell...its not just about the bad deeds that you do, but who you are as a person. God knows, there is no hidding it. Secondly, Jesus was ridiculed and thought to be a fake so i do believe that we (as the Jews did back then) will be very skeptical of anyone claiming to be the "second coming", however i dont think this guy is it. I think this new earth walker will prove himself just as Jesus did 2000+ years ago. And lastly, no matter who the next coming is in person all i know is that people better be ready. Some believe that with the second coming comes the end of the world...and just in case would you be ready to die tomorrow? Just food for thought. My opinions are mine, so i hope i didnt offend anyone, just wanted to leave some feedback.

Justine, first let me say that we are in the same boat. There will be a day of reckoning for your father and my grandfather. The punishment will fit the sin. For us, we must forgive and take control of our life and be prepared for the "end of times" of "rapture" or better the final judgement. In answer to your question about ready to die tomorrow for my faith and belief in God, Son and Holy Spirit, absolutely and without hesitation. The man in Houston must lead by example. But to be holy and godly, the true Son he must be without sin. The Bible refers to the second coming as "he shall come as a thief in the night" not he will be a sinner! My and more. |
