Ok has anyone ever heard of anything like this?  2 Directors composed this email to their units (both have stepped down as Directors) (took out names and added  Kaybot)

We have some AWESOME NEWS for YOU and OUR UNIT's future!

After careful thought and strategic planning, we have decided to reposition both of our units with the  Kaybot Future National Area Unit!  YAY!!

"Why are you doing this?"  you ask...

Great question!

Let us answer....because we were both First-Line Offspring Sales Directors of National Sales Director   Kaybot who has since retired, our next National Sales Director would have to be ourselves, (not that that would have been a bad thing).  Currently, as it stands, the only person "pulling" you up the career path was us as your only Director.  By us temporarily stepping down from Directorship, we can select  Kaybot to be our Director, then when we become Directors again, we will have  Kaybot as our Senior Director who just so happens to be heading into National qualifications!  YAY!!

Many of you already know and love  Kaybot as much as we do, but for those of you who do not, let us tell you a little about her... see  Kaybot Bio attached...

"What's in it for me?"  you ask...

Great question!

Let us answer.... Kaybot has over 23 years of Mary Kay experience, holding skin care classes and mentoring consultants and is ready to work one on one with YOU!   She has training sessions set up all over her growing National Area with one close to YOU!  This is an opportunity for YOU to jumpstart YOUR dreams again and start fresh!  She is 100% dedicated to her MK business and is a woman on a mission with a dream and a vision and is ready to give it all to YOU!  Not to mention, we will ALL be Charter Members of the Kathy Williams National Area...can YOU feel the pride?  This is an honor that we want to give to YOU!

**You may, or may not be receiving a letter from the company,  (depends on your Oct 31st active status), explaining that you have the option to select your next Director....we are asking that you select  Kaybot and continue to work with us to build our own National Area which will make us all bigger and stronger while we climb the MK career path!**

We know this may sound confusing, but it is ALL GOOD, so please call us if we have not already been in direct contact with you first!  Thank-you for your patience while we integrate our Mary Kay lives with  Kaybot

Like Corp would allow a director to manipulate her area like that???   Why can't these  Kaybot just admit when they haven't met production and have used up all of their grace periods?
mad2  And people wonder why we think all  Kaybot s are  evilone

Corp allows you to pick a new  Kaybot?  I thought you were assigned when your  Kaybot was no longer a director.

When my director left (yes, she truly did leave), I was assigned the director above her - I was not given a choice.  Then that director did not make her goals, and was de-moted  smiley , then once again I was assigned the next in line.  This all happend within a couple months, and that is really when my eyes opened up!!!

I am in Go Give and only had her as Director and there is no Senior Director above her and we have no National because she had retired so there was really no other Director to assign us to.  I think that's the only reason there is a choice

It makes sense there's a choice since there's no Sr. and no National to assign anyone to.

Now, playing devil's advocate here let's say these two directors really did step down for the reasons stated.  That would be one heck of a way to get yourself to National.  However, it reeks of something Robin Dunda is accused of - telling consultants to sit out a year and resign under her.

Things that make you go hmmm.....

Triple  Sick. I would not give up directorship comissions for SOMEONE ELSE to make NSD. Then again, I wouldn't BE a director for any amount of money these days!  rofl

Sounds like they make up the rules as they go.  When my director stepped down -- I stayed with the NSD.  Up until I left MK that's where I remained.

I agree this sounds VERY fishy!  Why would anyone give up their hard work for someone else to make all the big $$$$?  Is the future NSD paying them their regular income for them to step down for her.  If they are car drivers are they giving back the car?  If you read and track everything a director would be giving up that is in line BEFORE the one they want to be NSD it doesn't make sense.   Kaybot think everyone below them on the MK ladder are idiots to accept this explanation.
