Ahhhh...

PinkFlower, only 3 months?  Now your contributions thus far make a little more sense...  You are so LOST in the pink fog that none of your comments are your own!  Please come back once you have gone through all your friends and family, and realize nobody else even wants to talk to you about scary kay.  We have been there, done that.

I hate this company.   Boo Boo

I NEVER knew that there was such a force to get your hair cut!!!  Mine was and is still long (bra length).  Last fall, while we were at Career Conference, my director told me that the NSD thought I needed a new look.  She told me that at 8 a.m., and I had to sit thru a whole days worth of presentations thinking I looked horrible.  I called my hubby and decided to get a $100 haircut at the hotel.  It SO was not worth it.  I kept it past my shoulders, so I didn't completely give in!

Ok, I'm just thinking back to the seminar fashion show on MKSucks, and I'm also thinking those NSD's have NO BUSINESS telling anybody they need a new look!  Yikes, even the young ones look downright scary in their skunk hair and clown makeup.

I hope your hair has grown back and you wear it any d@mn way you please now!

Funny -- I went to an event and there was a whole speech that a Director gave about how we should look.  And -- she said if nobody had commented on your hair in a month, you should change it.  Everyone should strive for a Slammin Hair Cut.  Do ya'll think that is the same as SHARP?  HA HA HA

OMG! How true! They all do look the same! I wonder if they have a guide book that tells them they have to cut their hair and gives them pics of 3 to choose from?...They wouldn't like me as my hair is long...half way down my back! I love it and would never cut it to be "successful" as I already am successful in my non MK career!

I was encouraged by my  Kaybot to cut my shoulder length hair because if you haven't been complimented in a couple weeks you need a new style.  I had it trimmed but not cut off.  My  Kaybot director gave me a lukewarm compliment and then gushed about this other girl in our unit who had a new slammin' style.

I have long hair. Once, I was invited to go to lunch with my director and some others to lunch. I declined because I had a hair appointment. The next time I saw my director she said "I thought you were getting your hair done". I told her that I did and she replied, "oh, it's still long, I thought you would have gotten a short cut to look more professional"...

Someone please tell me why I even considered joining this organization in the first place??? UGHHH!!! Sick

I sympathize on all the short-hair comments.  I was actually at Career Conference when they tried to get me to cut my hair (it was halfway down my back).  One of the "directors" was an ex-beautician and offered to do the job.  I was in my semi-Kaybot stage so I actually considered it until I called my Husband.

Looking back I can now laugh as there has been time between then and now and I truly see through the Pink Fog now.  How do we, Strong, Intelligent Women get sucked into the "MK Dream"?????  This I ponder...  Oh well, I have seen the light, moved on and NOW I have found this group to Vent and Commisserate With. :-) :-) :-)

THANKS!!!

When my director was just a consultant (and I was just her customer) she had shoulder length hair and look very nice.  The she became a director and trimmed it a bit.  As of the last time I saw, about a month ago, her she had a very scary super short spiky hair do.  It looks terrible!  She's trying for her Cadillac.

My soon-to-be former director AND NSD have longer hair.  In fact, in my "upline", there's only one that has the "slammin'" hair cut and I suspect it's because she looks better with short hair.

The director's hair is actually very pretty.  It's down to below her bra line.  I haven't seen my NSD for so long that I'm not sure if she's cut it but I doubt it...

There was a director that frequently was at our meetings that always talked about having "slammin" hair and looking great etc..and her choice was a helmet head completely covered in glitter hairspray...glitter everywhere...umm, yeah, that's professional and "slammin".  She was always glittery...what did people at the grocery store think?  I'm sure they weren't wishing they had her job...   giggle

Snoopy Laura, on she has not cut it.  It's stll fairly long.  I just saw her not too long ago.  She sent me an e-mail asking if there was anything she could help me with since my director (REBECCA) not Evans, and I didn't seem to get along very well these days.   hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm I wonder why???

I have the world's straightest hair.  The consistancy is very fine (think 5 yr. old's hair).  I have plenty of it, it's just fine and straight.  I also sweat a lot when I get hot and live in an area where our summers are quite humid and hot.  Because of this, I often grow my hair out in the summer, so I can pull it up.  My short dos in the summer just melt and look sad, especially sporting hose and full director regalia.  Once when I was growing my hair, because I was tired of redoing it 3-4 times/day, my nsd asked me "Do you have a plan for your hair?"  I was quite surprised , but smiled and said yes I did, thank you.  It caught me off guard- I didn't think it looked bad.  She has sported a short do since I have known her.
