I'd be inclined to get extensions, just to be difficult. Hmmm....shoes, hair...I wonder what they might be inclined to start legislating next.

My ex-sd used to comment about my hair and how long it was (I would cut it over time and she always noticed and commented). She too had long hair but I guess it was okay b/c ex-NSD has long hair too (SAndrews).
If SAndrews ever cuts her hair the directors better watch out b/c then long hair might not be okay.
What's funny were the pictures I saw from seminars past - directors with short hair putting extensions in their hair. Make up your minds please.

I also had my hair cut when I was a Red Jacket. But know I am just letting it grow. No longer in the Pink . Anyway my director didn't call me that often because I didn't do the numbers. And she only dealt with DIQ.

I never cut my hair for MK. I've always had short hair--the longest was after the birth of my first child then years ago and then it was only about 2 inches above my shoulders. Short hair just suits me because mine is fine and not all that thick, and besides my DH thinks it's sexy!!! I change my hairstyle about as often as I change my clothes--love cuts that can be worn in several different styles!!!
I wish my hair looked decent at a longer length, but it just looks stringy if I let it get too long. Currently, I'm letting it grow--trying to get it to shoulder length at least--so I can at least sleek it back into a low ponytail, but layers are a must in my hair or it is totally limp and lifeless, so I'm not even sure I'll be able to do that..........oh well, maybe I'm just destined to a lifetime of short hair. Sorry for rambling......guess I 'm just bored.

sounds like we have the same kind of hair Done.....when I was younger and did let it grow, I had to have a perm in it to fill out....it was just to stringy straight and long. I try different short styles....I'll get it cut then let it grow out some to get it cut a different way... I'm letting mine grow out some too right now. My dh hates for me to ask him how I should cut it, he likes it long. Anyway...that's my ...

OMG, this is so true and I just never realized it!!! I cut 12 inches off my hair within weeks of signing my agreement! I hated it although everyone in my unit said it looked "sharp". I'm still growing it out and finally it's about 2 inches past my shoulders. Although my SD had long hair, she was constantly harassed about it by her SD. My DH used to always tease my as he saw my repeating the lingo in MK. One of his favorites was "she's sharp, has a good head on her shoulders" or throw your "heart over the bar".

Short hair......ick!!! Sick I know some ladies like short hair, due to their preference. BUT to be told to cut your hair?? That is the "stupidest" thing I have ever heard of. Most guys love girls with long hair. You can't look sexy in short hair.....it just doesn't work as well as long hair. Do you have plan for your hair?? That is another stupid statement!! If I was a director I wouldn't had the nerve to say that to another consultant. The unit that is in my area, I know of three ladies who have been in it for years, they all have longer hair then mine....past their bottems. I doubt anyone will ever get them to cut their hair. Trust me, people who get the "regular hair comments" are usually the girls with the long hair, the natural curly hair or the natural blondes. Short hair girls....step aside. Sorry to vent so badly, but it does irritate me to noooo end, when ladies cut their hair off just to please other women. grrrr....

I cut my hair (about 10 or 12 inches of it) off, but it was not for MK. It was for donating to Locks of Love (I think that is the name of the organization. They make wigs for ladies who have lost their hair due to chemo.) I have had it short now for a while and I have decided to grow it back out.

Hi ShayinSC...... You cut your hair to donate it to Locks of Love???? That is such a self-less act on your part!!! You have a good heart!! A co-worker of mine sent her daughter to a hair specialist & had a section of her scalp fitted for a piece of real hair to match her own hair. It looks great! (all of her hair grew back after cemo except one section) Maybe you helped her!!

If someone in MLM had asked me if I had a plan for my hair, I would have said "Yes, I have a plan for my hair. I plan to wear it the way I want to and to annoy the hell out of you"!

pinkcadillacgirl - I had toyed with the idea of cutting it, but not really short until I heard about the Locks of Love. They need a minimum of 10 inches, so I cut it really short to make sure it would be long enough to be donated.

ShayinSc.... I knew your hair donation had to be a certain length. My hairdresser had a long ponytail laying on her station to donate to Locks of Love. She didn't think it was quite long enough, but she was going to send it anyway.
