I have a National Court of Sales ring I was going to try and sell on Ebay.  I have been looking on there to try and find some other rings like it or that were National Court of Sales to find out how they are selling.  I couldn't find any.  What categories should I be looking under?

I don't think there's many out there for sale on ebay.  Last time I checked (it's been awhile) I think they were going for about $150.

you should have received an appraisal with your national court ring. I wouldn't sell it for less than that.  You can also try an add in your local paper.

I would actually get a separate appraisal....it doesn't have to be in writing, just for your knowledge.  I have heard many who have gone to jewelers and been told their rings are worth next to nothing because of poor quality.  Usually, when selling jewelry, you can expect to only get about half of the appraised value or less.  Appraised value is usually used for insurance companies as a replacement cost.  IMHO, if you are going the eBay route, you should really capitalize on the fact that it is an "official court of sales ring from the year xxxx"  Some Kaybots will pay HUGE amounts to get the ring that they were going for that year and didn't make it.  Good luck!  I hope you get double the appraised value!   :star:
