I LOVE wearing sweater sets and jackets and the cool weather makes everything feel better (since I am not SWEATING!  :laugh3: ). I am so looking forward to wearing my favorite brown leather jacket, anyone else?

I love the fall - its my favorite season.  I love going pumpkin picking, decorating my house in fall decor, lighting a pumpkin candle and breaking out my cold weather clothes.  Yes, I do live in the desert so we don't have much of a fall or winter (although, in our defense it did snow last year and the snow actually stuck!), but I love comfy sweaters and cozy flannels.  I'm willing myself to wait till October 1st before I pull out my Halloween stuff - the stores around here were selling Halloween stuff in July and that is just ridiculous!

I agree Sally, I DO love swimming. I was doing 30 laps a day in mid summer. Man, that felt good! BUT, we can find an indoor pool!!

Velocity fall is my favorite too. Except that I don't see much of a fall happening here in TX. i mean, there aren't any trees to change color, and so far the weather isn't going to allow sweaters. LOL

But it's my favorite just the same!

Okay sad.. ya inspired me to start the dreaded task of switching out wardrobes. with so little storage Ii have finally discovered those vacuum-them-smaller- storage/travelbags.. makes it easier to figure out where to store all my clothes which should really go in a dumpster.
Ask me how I like the weather when it gets to 40 below zero F.

I just LOVE this time of year - I can open the windows and turn off the air!
The kids aren't too hot in school now, as compared to last week when it felt like 100 degrees!  Leave it to the windy city - 92 last week, but 55 last night!!
Can't wait for Halloween - we get to change the clocks later now in November, so it stays a little lighter for the trick-or-treaters!

Lemme tell ya about the Halloween Blizzard of 19??. It was back in Minnesota. Started to snow on the afternoon of Halloween. snowed that day, that night, the next day, the next night. Over THIRTY SIX inches of snow. No trick or treats that year!

I am a fall lover for sure..the colors of the trees, the pumpkins and spicy smells, the candy lol, i love everything about it other than my annual sinus cold when the weather changes..it should be coming any time now..yuck! This year i am actually looking forward to winter though. I would never usually say that but this winter i am getting married...so this winter i want. Then besides the snow, i wouldnt be upset if i never saw another winter. Its way too cold, people drive like even bigger morans, and its always dark and gray. At least in MI.

We do celebrate fall in Michigan, don't we Justine?  I love this time of year, and lately we've really been having some cool days...apple picking...cider and donuts...yum.  Then about 2 weeks of snow, and I'm over winter!  :laugh3:

Sassy, where in Canada are you from, if you don't mind me asking?  Are the Michiganders close to you?

Yup right around the corner! We live in Ontario about 1 hour from the Port Huron boarder crossing! How close are you to Port Huron?
