Let's see....I'm in Lansing, so that's about 2 hours from me!  COOL!   We'll have to talk with others in our area about maybe doing a PLH get together or somethings... :coool2

It's been raining all day. I take that as Nature preparing for a deep frost in a couple of days.
At least I had time yesterday to burn all those old fliers of BACK TO SCHOOL specials on Mary Kay.

I love the fall - its my favorite season.  I love going pumpkin picking, decorating my house in fall decor, lighting a pumpkin candle and breaking out my cold weather clothes.  Yes, I do live in the desert so we don't have much of a fall or winter (although, in our defense it did snow last year and the snow actually stuck!), but I love comfy sweaters and cozy flannels.  I'm willing myself to wait till October 1st before I pull out my Halloween stuff - the stores around here were selling Halloween stuff in July and that is just ridiculous!

The stores here have Christmas decoration and selling them since August.  We don't do Halloween, but we have the Christmas spirit going :star:.  We don't have fall either.  I'm down in the Caribbean and it's summer all the time.

What a small world. Im getting ready to go apple picking this weekend and hoping to get a pumpkin soon too! The weather has been wishy-washy here in MI the past couple of weeks but it is starting to cool down a bit, especially at night. Its so weird to go to bed when it is pitch black and then wake up and it still is pitch black...it happens every year but still is crazy. lol Well i am ready to enjoy all that autumn has to offer and just hope that winter gets here soon.

Oh, I have been scouting around the Newport News online catalog lately. I hate most of their summer items, but their Fall stuff includes a lot of fresh and funky choices that are right for a person like me. Plus, affordable!

Nice to meet you, Justine!  What day is the wedding?  We got married on December 10, 1988!  We're getting ready to celebrate 20 years!  We're still on our honeymoon.  We got married during the middle of exam week my senior year of college. Eddie completed and turned in his final project at 11:00 and we got married at 3:00.  We went to Campbell University and being it was a small college and we went to church with our professors, they worked with us to take our exams early.  It was great.  We used Christmasy decorations and colors.  Best wishes on your new life together!

I went on Kohl's and ordered some sweaters. My old ones are falling apart and looking ratty. I can always find great sales and coupon codes at Kohl's! Three sweaters and shipping for $75! I like the Apartment 9 brand; it's good quality.

I've been baking a lot of pumpkin muffins lately. I'm thinking about a pumpkin swirl cheesecake for Thanksgiving.  :pie:
