OH! I hate the ultra low rise thing! I don't like momjeans but I should be able to pick something up without the whole world knowing exactly what my underware looks like.  :-[

Also when you get them too tight you just get "muffin tops" and look heavier than you really are.

OMG 'muffin tops' - that is hilarious!  tongue

I don't think there are many women on the planet who should wear tube tops, period. yikes. But my absolute favorite is when I see really overweight teenagers wearing 'slut togs' - like miniskirts that let their ovaries hang out, and halter tops that don't cover half of their belly - God Almighty. What I wouldn't give to have a chat with some of their mothers. But maybe the moms are even worse..... :o

And I agree, it doesn't matter what someone weighs - spandex should be against the law.

LOL!! I am wearing a tube top right now!! Too funny.  I am in a wedding in a few weeks and I have to wear a strapless dress.  I have tan line straps so I have been wearing a tube top around the house for the past few sunny days. Of course I put a shrit over to go out and run errands. My hubby loves them.

I always see women wearing camisoles at the mall.  Just camisoles....and they reeeeally shouldn't.  I always wonder "what were you thinking....don't you have a mirror?"

Once you're older than about 5, a cami should definitely be considered an undergarment!  My teenagers have hundreds of them but they surely never are the only top they are wearing.

Isn't it funny what we can get so worked up about??
I really liked your muffin tops- that's a good term to know. I saw in a magazine recently that the 1 inch of crack that is showing over many a young girls jeans is called the coin slot. Gross. But, that's what they call it.

Another thing that irks me is there is actually a trend, maybe you've seen it, for boys to wear girls jeans. Meaning, tight, even rolled up like capris, low rise, girls jeans. Not attractive. I don't want my man to look like my girlfriend. That's just me though. smiley anyway- this thread  is cracking me up.

My teenage daughter just got back from a trip to Europe with 40 of her "closest friends", and some of the boys bought flowing linen shirts and pants and decided to wear them the entire week....and a couple of others bought the "man-pris", or capri pants that are really popular with European men, then wore them the whole time they were there, too.

And then of course there were the 4 boys who bought their moms fake Louis Vuitton purses and then carried them all over Italy and Greece.

17 year old boys, gotta love 'em.  Now if they were being serious, like the guys wearing girls jeans, that would be another story altogether!  That's kinda gross!

Has anyone noticed that the PINK word that Victoria's Secret is using looks really similar to the PINK word that MK used for seminar '06?  I saw it in the store the other day and I wondered about that...

I agree with the "crack kills/butt cleavage" thing...what the heck is that about!!??  My niece was showing hers (by accident I hope) and I said, " you know, I got this urge to slide my credit card down your butt crack!  Where's the key pad?!?!?"

You girls are too funny! But at home all on my own it the back yard I regularly where and tank top/ cotton camisole with my bra straps flapping in the breeze! It doesn't bother me one bit! Now I would not ever consider leaving my property like that....I consider them to be my gardening clothes....

FYI up here we call a "muffin top" a "dun-lop" aka "her belly down lop over her belt"  :teehee: :teehee:

An acquaintence of mine told me about some jeans called, "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" available at Nordstrom's.  I haven't tried them yet but she told me that they're hip but not low....has anyone tried them?  They're expensive, though...about 100 bucks!  But she swears that she gets compliments like she's lost weight, etc....

okay where do they put their ______________s? many years ( and punds) ago DH accidently donned one of my pairs ( when I was a tiny girl) and he had no room for all of his accoutrements.
So are those boys who wear girl jeans .. like.... "ungifted" ?

Those are neat countess, but they wouldn't help with what I've seen.

I'm talking spaghetti straps with normal bras underneath. It looks so dumb to me. I've seen people in racerback tanks with normal bras on underneath.

Ick...I hate bras straps that stick out of tank tops too!  What is even worse, I see many women wear tank tops without bras!!!   blea!   According to "Blue Collar Comedy", Jeff foxworthy says that tanks tops are not a substitute for a bra!!    :teehee:
Plus, I really don't like the sight of underarms!
