My daughter has "skater" shoes - she just loves them and says they are really comfortable.  I'm thinking about getting a pair - wondering if I can get away with wearing them and not look like I'm trying to be 16 again.  hmmm

We went to Potmac Mills and lots of  kids were wearing them.  It was cool seeing them skate around.  One Dad had a pair along with his I'd say 8 or 9 year old son.   They were having a good time.  It was fun to watch them.   I say go for it and fooey on what anyone else thinks  clap clap

I never had an opinion about flip-flops tell the last few years.  Know I have grown to despise them.  Just for the fact that everyone wears them with EVERYTHING!!!  It is soo tacky.  Especially in church!  grrr...
I have arch supports custom made, due to high arches.  (my whole family has high arches)  So I can't wear sandles or flips flops for very long.  Which is no big deal.  I rather have tennis shoes.  I have never liked the dirt & sweat getting in between your toes or under your feet.  Plus I hate that "flip-flop" sound when people walk.  It just gets on my nerves.  Or....people tend to scuff their flip-flops instead of picking their feet up when they walk.
