about pencil jeans, I am going to puke.
Trinny and Susannah on What Not to Wear say they don't look good on anybody, and I have to agree. Even my size 2 & 4 teenagers look awful in them (didn't buy them, just tried them on for a good laugh!)
I'm sorry, BTDT. Please stop writing articles about them, please stop making them! Because you know what will happen--eventually, there won't be any other style of jeans out there and we'll be stuck with them!
They were ugly the first time around, they're ugly now!
Rant over!

No kidding!
And I keep wondering who they are marketing to. Must be 5 year olds, 'cause they keep telling us the population is getting heavier.

Haha I hadn't heard of pencil jeans...guess I live in the boonies. Gross! I can believe they don't make anyone look good. These jeans would undo any diet success I have had that's for sure! Well, thanks for the heads up anyway. Maybe they'll start clearing out the inventory of normal jeans and I can stock up. LOL

Oh - those are the ugliest things EVER. Nobody looks good in them - and they are especially horrible for pear-shaped girls. *sniffle*

What about stuffing them into your "Peter Pan" or "Duran Duran" boots? Ok, all of you girls who just went "What?" really depress me! 20th High School Reunion coming up soon. Didn't care much for many of those girls then (all girls school) so I doubt I'll be attending and funny how the super involved ones from way back when seem to be the ones handling all the reunion and alumnae stuff. The more things change the more they stay the same

You think you're showing your age....those things were all AFTER I paid attention to what was in style!
I always used to say I wanted the 80's to come back into fashion, but I was thinking of my glory days when we all dressed right out of The Preppy Handbook. Obviously this was the very, very early 80's!
I wish I'd kept all those Lacoste shirts for my kids--I know they didn't cost the 1980 equivalent of $72!

And I have to keep posting because I just noticed I am "Still Foggy".
Quite ironic, since the only thing from MK in my house is a 10 year old bottle of Angelfire.
