The irony? I wear more close toed shoes now than I ever did in MK. (When I signed on I didn't even have a pair of close toed shoes.) I just got new shoes too! Yay us!  |

I know what you mean!! Payless was having a sale at Christmas (UMM imagine that !) and I got two pair of the coolest shoes! One was a trappy pair that DH loves...and the other was a GOLD glittered pump with peeptoes!! |

Have fun shoe shopping! To tell you the truth, I do not like shoes period. Bare feet for me whenever possible. Drives my DH crazy. He is always asking me "how can you stand the dirt on the bottom of your feet?" 
I am the same way.

I just bought some new shoes on the Zappos.com site (linking through Pinktruth, of course!). They are black low heeled pumps, but I need them for church because I have a rather "active" volunteer job and my feet are just killing me by noon on Sunday. I cannot wear really high heels now that I am "older"....I'm totally into euro comfort shoes (and flip flops, of course!)

I agree!! My toes just don't like to be closed in. There much happier being able to breath.  I never really understood the closed shoe thing. After all, we were always told to wear only MK from head to toe!! Nothing looks better than a great pedicure and a pair of sexy sandals. |

I don't like to be barefoot, but I LOVE flip flops!!!! During the summer I am the flip flop queen! Totally irritates my husband! I have 10 pair during the summer (and usually whittle down to 2 or 3 during the winter, cause I wear them out, and have to trash them). Now, my fav are these fak-en-stocks that I got at Shoe Carnival and they are wonderful!!!

Living in the desert, I wear flip flops and sandals pretty much year around. However, I love boots! Maybe because I don't get to wear them alot I enjoy the times when boots are appropriate. Victoriasecret.com has their knee high boots with the smaller heel on sale for $79. I tried to order a pair last month but they were on backorder until February - which is when I usually bust out the flip flops. I think I may just order them anyway!
