I confess...

I just love purses. I can't help it.

Can anyone ever have enough? Am I the only one?

I love them but I'm too lazy to transfer all the contents of one purse into another just for the sake of my outfit.
So I use one at a time til it's all worn out. Cheesy

My husband calls me Imelda Marcos. Sheesh! Men think you are only supposed to have two pairs of shoes I suppose.

And...just bought a new purse yesterday. I swear...I think I should start a purse

I Agree!  There is no such thing as too many purses/bags....I'm constantly trying to figure out where I have left my wallet/phone/keys because I'm always changing bags around - my husband thinks I'm crazy and that it's a very unorganized way to live, but I don't care I love bags, and I love having the "right" bag for each look I'm trying to achieve.  It's that time of year again too...the time of year when I need to steer clear of Target - all the cute summer bags are on sale and there's still plenty of summer left to use them!  smiley

You are right- a bag is a fun accessory, and I change mine often--if you don't like transferring contents, here's what I do- I use one of those clear quick zip MK bags, and another smaller little bag and I keep most things in those bags- then the only things I might have loose in my purse are my phone, keys, a powder, so it's easy to transfer to different bags.
smiley I make bags, so it is natural that I would want to switch them up a lot- I carry a different one almost every day, and why not? That's how people see my creations and ask me about them--

milliefern.etsy.com if you're interested- it is just a hobby, really, but I do sell here and there just to maintain my hobby- I am getting ready to have some new ones listed on there, but you can get an idea of them if you want- there are some really cute ones in my sold items on that site-
by the way, if any of you make something, etsy is a website you can sell handmade items on- it's really easy! So, if you are an artist, a crafter, you paint, sew, crochet, knit, make jewelry, you can sell it on etsy- I learned of it through somebody else- smiley

****raising hand****
I'm addicted to purses and tote bags, too!

I change them a lot, and I always just have two different zippered bags inside my purse, so all I have to do is move them and my wallet and phone when I want to change.

Vera Bradley is all the rage here, but from reading some other bulletin boards, I think it has pockets of popularity.  They've been popular here in the deep South for a long time.  I got my first one as an incentive way back when I sold Longaberger before the turn of the century.  Yeah...no cheap crap as prizes for selling Longaberger....we got Vera Bradley bags!

I don't have a purse addiction so much as just a "bag" addiction.  I love totes, specialty "luggage" things, totes, suitcases, dufflebags, and did I say totes?  I got my current favorite totebag (sky blue polka dot) at Pottery Barn TEEN of all places!

I love that tote bag--my 17 yo daughter was looking at it (both of my daughters are addicted to purses and bags, too).

I love luggage, too.  I sit and look at the LLBean catalog trying to decided....hmmm, what color wheeled duffle?  And don't get me started on backpacks or messenger bags....it's too much! LOL!

Back pack purses are my favorite!!  I don't have to worry about it slipping off my arm or swinging around while I'm shopping.

OK_ just a plug for my obsession w/ bags, and bag-making, anyone interested must tell me what they think of some of the  new bags on my website- I've added 5 or 6 in the last month:) it's www.milliefern.etsy.com   smiley let me know what you think! Yes, it's a shameless plug, but really, I just do this as a hobby, and sell them periodically- I sold 3 this week actually!!

Thanks all for your input-

Justpinkenough--I love that Traveller Tote with Cherries!  Super Cute.  Where I live, we have an Annual Cherry Festival that hundreds of thousands of people come to every July.  That bag would be a huge seller that week!

Do you read the comic strip Cathy?  They had the funniest stuff about gigantic purses for a week or two.

I'm not sure I like those gigantic slouchy bags--I have a hard enough time finding stuff in the one I use now.  I'd think it would be like throwing stuff into a black hole.
