momontherun, it is a black hole. I tried carrying one of those big purses for a while, because I could never fit all my stuff in other ones, and I couldn't find anything! I had to clean it out all the time, because there was so much stuff in there and it was so heavy. I went back to my mid-size Coach purse and have been really careful about what I put in there - only carry absolute necessities.

bwahahahaha! I loved the "lipstick and lips" purse references!  I could never understand why everyone in my unit had them. I carry Coach bags and could never figure out why they would order so much to "win" a weird propylene bag with purple, red and pink lips on it. Now I know. It's because, like Pondering said, "they are way kewl". And I only have 6. |

I have way too many bags as well! I have 27 and DH says that to get another bag, I have to sell or give an existing one away. I think I'll start with that dreadful hot pink lips purse I got as a prize once! I love shopping for them because they never make you look fat!  |

I have to admit up until a couple of months ago I was "bag"' challenged. I used one purse until it died. Then bought a new one.........however, with my new found love for QVC, I have to admit, I am getting the hang of this bag thing........right now I have a (what I call) hobo bag w/tassles made of charms (is that what they call it?). Anyway, it's SLAMMING (*gag* on that word) and heavy too.......so, we'll see how long this lasts!

Sickie..........welcome to the world of new age shopping.......and it doesn't stop at QVC, there's also the Home Shopping Network (HSN), and for those of us "onliners" there's Ebay, Amazon, Overstock, and even......(gasp).......WAL-MART.

I've been having a good time with QVC  and have even purchased a few items off HSN (not my fav tho).......yes, e-bay is great for estee lauder products *wink* and I purchased a cereal dispenser through Amazon.........and yes, I've purchased items through Wal-mart! Hey, I'm farther along than I thought! Of course ya have to be good on the 'puter shopping when you live in "black hole" iowa bounce |

ever had someone tell you your bag was something your kid should be carrying? i have an excellent one that has Tinkerbell on it - purchased in the adult section at Wal-Mart. i can fit everything in that bag not so much in the Adult bag that i have though *sigh* it's not even that i carry THAT much stuff. well sort of but i have kids and a DH that expects me to whip out what ever they need at the drop of a hat *sigh* on a quest for the perfect purse sort of like trying to find comfortable high heels |
