I think I spent too much time shopping with the family yesterday. My brain is mush. LOL My sister and I have a differing opinions on clothes. LOL
I bought a jacket yesterday at Kohl’s. It’s a fitted, nipped in at the waist, regular jacket collar, 3 buttons, short-ends just below the waist/high hip, and it’s a brown with slight pink undertones. The jacket is a satin type fabric. I think it fits great on me and if you watch “What not to Wear” it fits all the rules.
What would you wear under this jacket?
I thought this jacket would be great for an evening out. I think it needs a lingerie type top with a v-neck. Maybe something pink or maroon. I thought I would wear this with my dark blue, very long, flare jeans, and some kind of shoes with a heel (probably brown.)
Thanks for your thoughts and if you know any stores to direct me to, I would appreciate it.

Ginger -- sounds beautiful! I agree that you need a sexy little top (maybe some lace over it?) with some great dark jeans. Of course, with some nice heels and making sure the jeans go to the ground... Thanks, Stacy and Clinton! Are you gonna post a photo with the final outfit??  |

I also agree with TUP. Dark jeans for sure, and brown boots would look really hot with it. The top underneath with a little lace would look great. . . in brown to match the boots would look nice. I would offer the advice that you plan a great pair of earrings with it and a simple necklace, if any (with the lace). See, I am good for the jewelry advice. . . |

I do some gold, mostly by request because it's not my favorite, but I have the supplies.
I am really close to opening the Etsy store, just need to get a couple more things done, since I'd like to have at least a dozen items posted for variety.

I agree with your choice of pieces. Also, the simple not screaming jewelry would make you look finished. In that outfit you would not have to be concerned about Stacy and Clinton knocking on your door.  |
