I Love chocolate and I have many recipes that are great for breakfast and tea.  Here is one of my favorites. :chocdnce: :chocdnce: :drawheart: :drawheart:

Chocolate Raspberry Muffins

2 1/2 cups flour                                                                       3/4 cup butter
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar,divided                                  2 eggs beaten
1/2 plus 2 tablespoons cocoa                                                  1 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder                                                    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon baking soda                                                           2 cups frozen raspberries
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degree.  Grease or line 18 muffin cups.  Can use large cups as well.

In a large bowl, mix flour , 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.  Cut in the butter with a pastry blender.

Measure the beaten eggs , then add enough milk to make 11/2 cups total liquid.  Stir milk and eggs into flour mixture.  Then add chips and raspberries, stirring only until all ingredients are combined.

Fill muffin cups almost full.  Sprinkle remaining sugar on top of muffins.  Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted  in middle comes out clean.  If using a greased muffin tin , allow muffins to cool almost completely before removing.

Makes 16-18 muffins.  Enjoy!!   :chocdnce: :chocdnce: :drawheart: :bskt :bskt
