It' a neat concept.  Anyone tried it or something similar?  These places are popping up all over.  There's one near me.  I might give it a try for a week or two.

I love these places.  It is a great place to go with girlfriends and prepare a week's worth of meals at a time.  We have a girlfriend's kitchen that recently opened in my area and they gave a meal for 3 to come and try it out.  The food was very good...I think that I chose kung pao chicken.  They had a hard sell on buying packages though.  Every Thursday night, the Super Suppers in my area will hold a welcome night for newbies.  They actually give you a meal for 6 to come try it out.  There was no hard sell at all.  I have actually become friends with my local owner.  A couple of things that I love about Super Suppers is that they have a grab and go section that they do not charge extra for, so you can be running late and stop in to get a prepared dinner meal, take it home and cook it up easy as pie!  They even have half servings (for 3-4 people) and individual servings in the grab and go, which is perfect for my mom.  At the end of the month they have 20% off and they have a punch card so you can get a discount without having to come in and make a whole bunch of food in advance, (can be hard if you don't have a lot of freezer space).  Additionally, if you know that you want to pick something up for dinner that night and it is in the morning, you can call in advance and tell them what you want, even special requests like extra mushrooms or no sesame seeds, etc. and they will prepare it for you and refridgerate it rather than freeze it for your pick up later that day.  They have also done special tours for my daughter's girl scout group and gave them dinners to take home.  They are awesome!!!  It is much healthier than fast food and much cheaper than going to  a restaurant!   :hngry:  :hngry: Now I am hungry!  Give it a try, you will love it.  If I schedule time for me and my friends, they even serve wine while we are making our meals  :wineo: fun, fun, fun!!

We have something like that here - The Dinner A'Fare. I absolutely love it. I makes it so easy and it is fun! It actually saves me money too! My kids also have liked every meal so far! Get your girlfriends together and give it a try! You will really enjoy it!

Ok I'm going to try it soon.  I'm so busy during the week getting there by 6:00 would be difficult.  I think I'm going to have to go on a Saturday.  Thanks for the input.
