I love it too, but I usually buy one of those side dish mixes at the "hippy grocery store"  :teehee: (that makes me laugh!) The only problem with them is they tend to have a fairly high amount of sodium.  Right now in my life I am not doing so well with planning ahead cooking because my family is always gone and I never know what it going on.  Life with teenagers.  When they were young, I cooked every night.

Even though it's not that healthy--white rice and all--I love risotto.  Nobody else likes it, so I buy one of those side dish mixes, add mushrooms, etc. and eat it myself.

Still loving my Quinoa cereal recipe! I found a Quinoa salad recipe that I want to try. It's a cross between Labanese and Mexican, looks yummy. It's from fatfree vegan (I think it's just a blog, but she has some really great things on there), can't wait to try it!!!!! I may just do a pico de gallo with cucs, avocado and Quinoa. Yum!  :drawheart:

Hi Sassy!!!!!  :drawheart:

The website is www.fatfreevegan.com and the click on blog. I am trying to figure out what month I saw this on. If you can't find it, I will PM the recipe to you (I did have the sense to copy and paste to Word, so I could make it tomorrow)! I don't know if it's alright to post it on here though.

Also check out www.veganfeastkitchen.blogspot.com looks like some really yummy stuff on there too!

What I want to know is WHY DID I EAT CRAP FOR SO LONG IF THIS FOOD HAS BEEN OUT THERE THIS WHOLE TIME!!!!!!!!

I am not a Vegan let alone a Vegetarian, but I want to eat more foods like this MORE often! Let me know what you think Sassy!  :pplease:

O.K. when you get on the site, click on blog and look to the right side, you will see months and years. You want July 2006!  :jmp4joy:

I think I would leave out the corn, chickpeas and add Feta cheese!

Now I'm gonna have to wait until wed to try a few of those recipes! Same month and year that your quinoa salad is in there's a artichoke pesto pasta salad that looks very yummy! I'll be trying that one for sure! :hngry:
