Has anyone seen the recipe for stuffing your turkey with oranges and onions?  I heard it on the radio and I have been searching for it ever since!!!

No recipe, but I've put an onion cut in half inside a roast chicken.  For a turkey I would use an orange or 2 and cut in quarters and an onion or 2 and cut in quarters, maybe some herbs.

I've heard of this recipe with chicken too...Tyler Florence did it a few weeks back on his "Ultimate" show.  I would try Googling it for a turkey recipe - whenever I'm in doubt, I Google it.   dance

I think Giada de Laurentiis may have a citrus turkey recipe - I'll see if I can find it for you.   wshbone

I have always just done that...don't know if it really makes the turkey any juicier...but have you looked on foodnetwork.com?  snowmn

Yum!  I cook my turkey with onions, but I use a bottle of white wine also, and baste it with that!  Makes it so moist and flavorful  gobble2 You house does kind of smell like a brewery while cooking  giggle  But hey thats ok with me  Margarita cocktail Cheers sleepytg

Well that's a start!  I am getting a 10-12 lb turkey from our S.H.A.R.E. program at church so I thought I would experiment on it instead of the monster turkey!!  Thanks!  Let me know if ya'll find anything, I'll keep looking!
